Fox News correspondent Bill Hemmer interviewed U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr in El Salvador during a visit to address the crisis on the U.S-Mexico border, MS-13, drug trafficking and human trafficking.
During the interview Bill Hemmer asked about AG Barr’s ongoing review of DOJ and FBI activity during the 2016 election.
BARR: “I’ve been trying to get answers to the questions and I’ve found that a lot of the answers have been inadequate and some of the explanations I’ve gotten don’t hang together, in a sense I have more questions today than when I first started.”
HEMMER: “What doesn’t hang together?”
BARR: “Some of the explanations of what occurred.”
HEMMER: “Why does that matter?”
BARR: “People have to find out what the government was doing during that period. If we’re worried about foreign influence, for the very same reason we should be worried about whether government officials abuse their power and put their thumb on the scale.”

What a breath of fresh air compared to Sessions.
He actually has normal human curiosity about how the Deep State types were setting up the Trump-Russia investigation. He's willing to express his thoughts on the matter in an interview. He's put people on the case.

Sessions was extremely selfish thinking he could ride it out. did a major disservice to the country by staying on.
Sessions behavior remains an unexplained mystery to this day.
To me, he had the appearance of someone who was very afraid.
He gave aid and comfort to the enemy.

I am absolutely 100% convinced Sessions was a Trojan horse planted in the Trump campaign precisely to help grease the skids for a coup should Trump actually win. Then when he did, Sessions deliberately fouled things up at DOJ to make the Mueller thing possible. Sure, I could be wrong, but the way things played out leads to only two possible conclusions about Sessions. Either he is an enormously weak, stupid man who was in way over his head as AG, or he was complicit in the coup attempt.

I would think a guy with Barr’s CV would need no introduction to the deep state.
“If that f&*k#ng b%st%rd [Donald Trump] wins, we all hang from nooses.” Typical hiLIARy class. It was just under a month before the general election. Mat Lauer asked something to close to the secret server. That’s the time she called Brazille a “buffalo.” Class, pure class.

Sessions was a deep state plant
At first I supported him. It took me a while to get on to him, but I finally did.
Just for the sake of completeness, we should include the 3rd possibility:
he was secretly working closely with Trump the whole time, and the fruits of his labor have yet to surface.
I'm trying to state this in a neutral (not mocking) way as I can. Which is because I'm trying to just lay it out here, not endorse it any of the three options yet.
This "still positive" view of Sessions is held by many (but not all) of the 17th Letter Aficionados . You may recall that one of the recurrent memes / mottos was "Trust Sessions".
The one future proof-point that I am aware of is one connected with US Attorney John Huber. Huber was said to be working quietly in the background by the pro-Sessions guys, and they are expecting all his work to finally be shown right after the promised OIG report by IG Horowitz which is expected in roughly the next month.
Some of us have been extremely skeptical that Huber was anything but a distraction, to keep everyone off of Sessions back, and that, in fact, Huber hasn't been doing anything to investigate the Deep State Coup.
I'd say we will know soon, though. If nothing comes out after the IG Report on FISA then what is he waiting for? (The 17th Letter Guys will keep saying it's coming, it's coming I guess, but it becomes implausible at some point).
So, that's the other theory, and the one possible proof point to support it. If nothing ever comes out of Huber then the "Trust Sessions" motif was a false one, and the people who were pushing it were just very very wrong.
Meanwhile, the best election ever, gets better each day when AG Barr reviews/discusses the legal realities and not the DNC/Mediot/Clinton/Obama Collusion/Delusion BS!
