The cat is out of the bag. You cannot put the toothpaste back in the tube. It seems like the Obama administration spied on the Trump campaign. The only thing left is figuring out the final cast of characters. James Comey, Rod Rosenstein, and some other familiar faces should be yanked back onto the Hill to discuss everything. From this apparent spy operation against the Trump campaign to FISA abuses, there are rumblings that the impending IG report on these abuses will be “scorching.” So, is there panic? There might be, especially after former Director of National Intelligence under Obama, James Clapper, nuked the FBI’s position that no spying occurred against the Trump team in 2016. The New York Times reported that some woman named Azra Turk was sent over by the FBI (or CIA) to oversee the spying operation, which also included longtime CIA operative Stefan Halper trying to infiltrate the campaign. Ms. Turk reportedly was a “honeypot” trying to pump information out of George Papadopoulos, who said he has no gripes with the Times’ piece other than he thought Turk was CIA. Yeah, former CIA director under Obama, John Brennan, is also on the list of people who need to get the hell back to the Hill to answer questions.
Yet, Michael Goodwin of the NY Post also noted how it’s a bit disturbing that the liberal media takes all of this at face value. How do we know this wasn’t a plot to stop Trump from being elected? How do we know nothing illegal occurred? All should be answered in due time. With Attorney General William Barr at the helm at DOJ, I have confidence that this will happen.

.@Comey on Barr saying the Trump camp was spied on: "I have no idea what he’s talking about. The FBI doesn’t spy. The FBI investigates. The Republicans need to breathe into a paper bag." pic.twitter.com/8P4m9s5Rvs— Tom Elliott (@tomselliott) May 8, 2019
Still, Comey asserts that the FBI doesn’t spy, which is absurd in the post-9/11 world. Of course, the FBI is an intelligence agency. It’s the domestic arm of that community, while the CIA handles foreign surveillance. FBI Director Wray also tried to run interference on this narrative (via NBC News):
FBI Director Chris Wray said Tuesday that he would not describe the federal government's surveillance, such as that conducted on President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign, as "spying," as Attorney General William Barr has.
During a Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing, Wray was asked by Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., about Barr's statement last month that "spying did occur" on the Trump campaign.
"I was very concerned by his use of the word spying, which I think is a loaded word," Shaheen said. "When FBI agents conduct investigations against alleged mobsters, suspected terrorists, other criminals, do you believe they're engaging in spying when they're following FBI investigative policies and procedures?"
"That's not the term I would use," Wray said of "spying." "So, I would say that's a no to that question."
But Clapper had already come in like a wrecking ball, saying what happened to the Trump campaign fits the dictionary definition of—wait for it—spying. Of course, he also spun it to make it seem less pernicious, but it’s becoming clear that some unprecedented operation was executed against a rival presidential campaign (via Free Beacon)
Clapper on Obama Admin.: What They Did to Trump Campaign 'Meets the Dictionary Definition of Spying'
James Clapper, a CNN contributor and former Director of National Intelligence, admitted last Friday that what the Obama administration did to the Trump campaign "meets the dictionary definition of spying."
Clapper, who served as the DNI during the Obama administration, appeared on CNN's Situation Room to discuss new revelations that the FBI sent an undercover agent to meet with George Papadopoulos in London in 2016, backtracking from his prior comments about there not being any spying.
"Was it spying?" asked host Wolf Blitzer.
"Well, yeah I guess it meets the dictionary definition of spying—surveillance or spying, a term I don't particularly like," Clapper said. "It's not a term used by intelligence people. It has a negative connotation, a rogue operation, out of control, not in compliance of the law, and that's not the case at all."
So, you may not like the term, Obama-ites and liberal media clowns, but that’s what happened. And frankly, we don’t care if you’re uncomfortable with the term. We won. We’re going to find out what you did and brutal retribution should be carried out to those responsible.
And the truth shall set you free!
Well, if you use good lumber, you can use it for 100 years, and I think we have enough candidates to keep it busy.
Bkmk
BTTT
When is that time?
Because mueller was ruining lives very quickly after he started.
We’re not.
So will the Soetoro story be something along the lines of ‘Trump is so corrupt, we HAD to do it...spy, coup d’eta, the whole smash.....we HAD to do it’....?
Actually you can put the toothpaste back in the tube.
If the FBI doesn’t like the word “spy”, use “informant” or “snitch(if they are working off charges)”. Same thing. All are synonymous in this case.
No different than their very numerous “entrapment cases” where they send on “informant/spy/snitch” into a group of say, “white supremacist’s”. At some point the “informant/spy/snitch”, while wearing a wire, makes a comment about how cool it would be to blow up the Brooklyn Bridge, the day of the NY Marathon. A couple of the “white supremacist’s” nod in agreement or say, “yeah, that would be cool”, and BAMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! .... and it’s ...
Freeze!! FBI!! Hands on your head!! Don’t move!! ....(which is it? Freeze, put my hands on my head or don’t move?)
Headline the next day ..... FBI Squashes White Supremacist Terror Plot To Blow Up Brooklyn Bridge on Marathon Day
At the end of the day, they did their level best to entrap and then remove the President of the United States of America.
Thank God for Admiral Mike Rogers and the NYPD TARU folks. If these domino’s start to fall, as they should, these are the next folks to get the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Hell, Adm Rogers should get the MOH for saving the country.

Beaten, I’d settle for be beaten then hanged.
Staffers and interns should be beaten then let go
So now that we know they were spying on Trump, in other words they had penetrated his campaign with the intent to make him lose, the next question is how many states and how many votes did it cost him in 2016.
For example, did these spies have anything to do with Trump making mistakes - maybe by giving him bad information or advice? I remember Trump confusing ‘Kuds’ [Iranian terrorists] with ‘Kurds’ - did they plant that on Trump to get him to cross-up the names, and then make sure the question was planted in one of the debates? This alone probably cost him a number of votes, maybe enough to flip NH or MN.
Did they give his campaign bad polling numbers, to try to make him go where he was not needed, or did they use their inside information to tip off Hillary’s bunch as to what was coming next...so that she would have a chance to get out in front of it?
To quote Comey - ‘So many questions’
Clapper: Spying “has a negative connotation, a rogue operation, out of control, not in compliance of the law” and is usually hostile
This is exactly what happened.
Contrary to what Clapper infers.
Spying.
Period.
Can’t Trump declassify it?
How arrogant to redact 95% and hide it for 25 years?
That should NOT be something that ONE guy can do.
Gee makes me thing Wray is trying to hide something...
They are not our party even if they pretend to be for a few weeks every two years to trick us into voting for them.
Read later.
Wray is a DEEP STATER!! Can Trump OVERRULE what he just CLASSIFIED????? STEP ON IT, Pres. Trump!
This article was a fair compendium. Conservatives have too few in their corner to criticize one who speaks the truth by radio and TVIMO.
Heck No!!
Congress can't form a grand jury, issue meaningful subpoenas, petition courts to obtain electronic monitoring or communication records, or charge them with a crime.
The time for Congressional theatrics is OVER!! The Mueller Report is issued and viewable (over 92% of it anyway, and nearly 100% for Congress critters) and it's time for Lady Justice to start swinging that sword.
Federal justice is not swift but it is quite certain.
Congressional hearings are all politics. All hat & no cattle. Forget it and get on with the investigations and prosecutions. That's the only path to justice for the American people.
