According to some sources (I saw this in the last two weeks and didn’t bookmark the link), McCabe launched an investigation into Sessions for “Russian collusion”; and according to someone else today, Al Franken made a criminal referral to the DOJ for Sessions; the price for his not being charged/indicted was to recuse.
Boy, was she ever looking bad at the presser where she called Barr a liar. Her hair’s usually well done and it was scraggly and she generally looked like she just stepped out of a women’s mental hospital. Looks like the effects of a lot of very serious pressure.
Since THE IDIOT Sessions left the Dems have lost control of running the DOJ
I hear Ballsy Ford really gets around. Don’t be surprised if they cart her out again to make baseless charges against Barr.
Rather than try to browbeat him personally like that, they will more likely focus on just trying to dirty him up in the media, to try to reduce his credibility. Probably not enough time left to break him psychologically.
It is the final phase of emergency preparation, to implement protective measures, before the storm starts to hit them in earnest. Final weeks.
