A new survey has found that Americans are among the most negative people on the planet.
Gallup’s latest update on the world’s emotional state reported that 55 percent of Americans said they experienced a lot of stress in 2018, one of the highest rates out of the 143 countries polled and well above the global average of 35 percent.
The U.S. trailed only Greece (59 percent), the Philippines (58 percent) and Tanzania (57 percent) on the stress table and is tied with Iran, Albania and Sri Lanka at 55 percent.
The poll also reported that 45 percent of Americans said they felt worried a lot, and more than one in five, 22 percent of Americans said they felt angry a lot.
And according to Gallup, the economy's not the problem, as the survey found the levels of negative emotions are even higher than during the Great Recession.

Why would it be? Half the people on this site are constantly telling us that we’re living in the end times and the other half of the country seem to think Donald Trump is the end of the world. American optimism is dead.
Let’s be clear though—it’s typically the leftist progressives doing the complaining.
We’ve become rather lazy in looking to the Hope, because we are so entertained today. Messes of the most scrumptious pottage mean nothing in the big picture with respect to a birth (born-again) right, however. It’s OK to have pottage but never at the expense of the birthright.

Capitalism generates wealth. Socialism steals the wealth and funnels the benefits over to the parasites who are ungrateful. The workers are unhappy that they are being ripped off and the parasites are always unhappy. The elites are looking down at the situation and wondering how to keep themselves in power while laughing at the workers and the parasites. The American political process in action.
