“This is a joke right?”
Why would it be? Half the people on this site are constantly telling us that we’re living in the end times and the other half of the country seem to think Donald Trump is the end of the world. American optimism is dead.
The end times OUGHT to be a reason for a strong optimism of Spirit. Jesus’ plan of salvation (with the alternative of final judgment against those who adamantly refuse it) is cooking along just fine.
But Christians are so mournful today. WHY??? Could it be upside-down values, as one Salvation Army colonel I knew kept sharing with his congregants.
Here, here. Just the other day some nut on this very site was trying to convince me the world will end specifically in the fall of 2024. When someone purports to know when the end will come, it screams “cultist”

His election has torn families apart. However she’s my sister and I love her and it doesn’t matter to me, her
