Why the Charge Against Julian Assange Makes No Mention of Espionage or 2016 Russian Hacking

Wikileaks is at the center of major questions in Robert Mueller’s investigation, including whether anyone involved in Donald Trump’s presidential campaign assisted the organization in releasing hacked materials. But the charge in the one-count indictment against Wikileaks founder Julian Assange unsealed on Thursday shortly after his arrest doesn’t speak to those questions or broader First Amendment issues.

In an indictment dated March 6, 2018, the United States charges Assange with one count of conspiracy to commit computer intrusion. The indictment alleges “that in March 2010, Assange engaged in a conspiracy with Chelsea Manning, a former intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army, to assist Manning in cracking a password stored on U.S. Department of Defense computers connected to the Secret Internet Protocol Network, a U.S. government network used for classified documents and communications.”

On a conspiracy charge, I believe the statute of limitations doesn’t begin to run until the last documented underlying crime related to the conspiracy was committed. Also, note that the statute of limitations is tolled (suspended) while the defendant is outside the U.S.

Notice Assange was arrested after Mueller was done. I question the timing (and agree:)

Is this from the same people that said Trump colluded with Russians?

Neither the Podesta or DNC breaches were classified material. Also, they weren’t hacked. Podesta was a case of Phishing, and DNC was likely taken by Seth Rich.

Perhaps reading the some records would expose this for the farce it is...
UNITED STATES ARMY COURT OF CRIMINAL APPEALS

One day while working in the secure classified information facility (SCIF), appellant downloaded thousands of classified SIGACTs from both the Combined Information Data Network Exchange for Iraq (CIDNE-I) and for Afghanistan (CINDE-A) onto a compact disc (CD). She then removed the CD from the SCIF and took it to her quarters where she copied the contents onto her personal laptop computer and copied the information onto a memory card.
In January 2010, while in Maryland on mid-tour leave from her deployment, appellant uploaded the classified information contained on the memory card to the Wikileaks website.
Snip... i would come in with music on a CD-RW labelled with something like “Lady Gaga”. . . erase the music . . . then write a compressed split file . . . no-one ever suspected a thing.AR 15-6 Report -- Compromise of Classified Information to Wikileaks (redacted), Department of the Army, 14 February 2011
(Page 47 in particular, but the guy was a nut case. Read it and will see for yourself) d. ...PFC Manning allegedly downloaded classified information onto his SIPRNet computer, removed that information from his workplace and transferred that information to persons not entitled to receive classified information.
Manning didn't need any help!
Something fishy is going on.

Page 12... We find appellant’s use of Wget allowed her to access the cables by circumventing the DoS portal and contacting the server directly, which allowed her to directly download the cables onto her hard drive, and ultimately transmit seventy-five classified cables to Wikileaks.

No "password assitance" required.

Sorry for the writing errors. I'm really rather PO'd at this flimsy 'excuse'.

Perhaps an excuse to get him to the US, but an excuse nonetheless.

The question is ‘What really happened.” Assange is only part of the picture. Bernie Sanders loyalists within the DNC had also been active, which some say is the reason the DNC never turned its compromised servers over to the FBI for forensic computer analysis.

Pair this fact with the mysterious unsolved murder of DNC computer system’s technician, A Bernie Loyalist,Seth Rich that occurred on Sunday, July 10, 2016, at 4:20 a.m. in the Bloomingdale neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Rich died from two gunshots to the head, a double tap indicative of a professional hit. Riches personal affects , wallet, ID, were left untouched, it was not a robbery. The motive behind the Rich murder remains unsolved. many feel he was killed by the DNC/Obama/Clinton hit squad whichi have thoroughly established a history of actual Arkanicide.

Maybe Assange will tell AG Barr and his US Attys the truth
about Seth Rich and provide a trail to the DNC’s murder of Rich. This is why the left is screaming and caterwauling about Assange yet again.Yesterday Assange was a hero of the left, today, since being in US custody the left has upped their hatred factor of Assange. Ask yourself “why?”

Was Rich working with Assange, or Russian Hackers, or was Rich working on his own? These questions have not been answered, and perhaps Asange can cast a light on the truth. Assange will sing like a canary when the Barr DOJ gets through with him.Meanwhile the Dems try to shut Assange up by sayiong Assange has 1st amendment protection as a journalist? What a laugh.

Good observation. These type of charges always rely on the “last of the ongoing acts” or “when they become known”. That said, HRC is being tested to the limit. Her conspiracy is ongoing. This action will clear the way for her Indictment.

I am waiting as patiently as I can for these arrests. Can’t come quick enough for me. JA is being protected by these charges. Otherwise he will disappear.

I still want to know why the FBI continue to tell everyone the DNC computer was hacked, the DNC refused to give the their computer to the FBI,they only saw the republican committee computer.
Jerome Corsi said on FOX today that that Muellers team wanted to admit that he talked with Assange about emails and he denies ever doing that and said he would not admit to a lie, also that Mueller believed that Corsie and Roger Stone were involved in communicating with Wikileaks on this.
I want to see the proof that the DNC computer was hacked by Russians, according to stories I have read, intelligence officials who saw the amount of data transferred and the time it took to transmit the data determined it was not possible to transmit that amount of data in the short period of time indicated on the actual emails, but it is the exact amount of time it would take to transfer from a memory stick

Regarding this...Assange Affidavit Page 13 A. Assange was "NF"
45. At her court-martial proceeding, Manning claimed that she believed the individual with whom she was chatting "was likely Mr. Julian Assange, Mr. Daniel Schmidt, or a proxy representative of Mr. Assange and Mr. Schmidt."
That's neither evidence nor proof, that's Manning's belief!
The rest of the stuff there is assumptions and/or hearsay, not facts, from Megan Brown.
And the snowball started rolling downhill.

I call more BS from RR's co-worker! (yeah, Google those two names together)
