In her First Thoughts on Fox Nation Tuesday, Tomi Lahren said Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's rhetoric may make members of older generations scratch their heads, but the youth in America seem to be taking her seriously.
Lahren noted that Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has pushed far-left policies like the Green New Deal and Medicare for all. She has also raised eyebrows with some controversial or inaccurate claims, like saying that unemployment is low because people are working two jobs, and that the three branches of government are "the presidency, the Senate and the House."
"I could go on and on and on, but your brain would hurt and mine would to," Lahren said. "Problem is, my peers, your kids, your grandkids, they think she’s a genius, a revolutionary, a political savior. And that’s the problem."

The "kids" referenced in the article are too stupid, slothful and entitled to control ........ anything.
By the time (to which you reference), these various United States of America will be in control either by A) degenerate ragheads or B) messycans. "Kids" who might consider the likes of Cortez to be important, will be little more than Eloi to the above.
The other half of the problem is that “our side” doesn’t do squat to present an equally compelling narrative. Where are the conservative entrepreneurs defending capitalism? Why are conservatives dependent on liberals to develop things like social media and drive them to stratospheric levels of popularity (i.e. don’t just tell me “well, Gab”...)
Are conservatives inherently dumber or lazier than liberals?
AOC is doing a much better job for her side than anyone other than Presiden Trump is doing for ours. Most Republicans are as dumb as she is, and as inarticulate as a rock. Making fun of her doesn’t diminish her popularity and credibility in some minds one whit.
“Our side” will learn this lesson, one way or the other.
AOC is just the first of many to follow, as effective as she has been who can blame them for not doubling-down, X100?

The problem with the “couple of kids and a mortgage” theory is that they have already been brainwashed into not having a “couple of kids and a mortgage”. And god forbid that they actually have or keep a wife to raise those kids.

Great ideas....now, how do we implement this, quickly (time is of the essence), with a Dim led Congress? We couldn’t even do this with a Repub led Congress :(
Also....the taxes don’t seem to turn them against libs/socialists - at least not for many years - as they tend to blame Republicans as being ‘The Man’, from what I’ve seen.
We definitely need a much better message and means of getting it to these younger folks.
One of the MAIN things we can do to try and reprogram our young is to break-up Big Silicon Valley with antitrust suits. They are actively playing the role of firewall to keep out Conservative ideas. And the young rely on social media for just about all of their info about the world.

I still think her purpose is to throw crazy, far left policies out...so other liberals “appear” more centrist.
It might not ‘speak well’ of ‘those kids’.....but, those kids are followers and they vote. :(
