President Donald Trump made a rare appearance at a church last Sunday. Its a safe bet the sermon was not based on Proverbs 15:1A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. If it was, it didnt appear to have much effect.
Before and after church, the president engaged in a tweet storm that insulted several people, including the late Sen. John McCain.
Trump accuses McCain of being complicit in the leak of the Steele dossier, a private intelligence report compiled by former MI6 officer Christopher Steele for the political research firm Fusion GPS, which, among other things, alleges that in Moscow Donald Trump booked the presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, where he knew President and Michelle Obama (whom he hated) had stayed on one of their official trips to Russia, and, while in the company of prostitutes, defiled the bed.
According to Newsweek, major parts of the dossier have been verified by subsequent investigations into Russian election meddling. Trumps behavior at the Ritz Carlton in Moscow, however, remains unverified.
The president referred to McCain as last in his class at Annapolis. This was too much for McCains daughter, Meghan, who said on The View that the president is leading a pathetic life, adding, He spends his weekend obsessing over great men, because he knows it, and I know it, and all of you know it, he will never be a great man.
This is the problem with insults and anger. They invite similar responses. Nothing is affected by harshness, except a general degrading of the office and of the people who shoot rhetorical arrows at others.

Trump is doing great things for our country. John....a warrior, and a loser who was deep into driving out our president. Dead or alive, he IS a stain.
LOL.
The loser McCain who in a fit of temper got shot down in Vietnam, was a conspirator in the plot to overthrow the presidency.
Unforgivable.
It would not be right to lie about the harms McNoName brought to the country. Yes he served our country, but not all of his service was honorable - especially his post-military career. Political Correctness is a lie to start with, and “not speaking ill of the dead” can only go so far.
He writes that major parts of the dossier have been verified? How despicable.
For the first time in many decades, we have a President who calls it the way it is. I for one am enjoying this. Being a veteran, I have always viewed McCain as part of the fifth column here. Sorry if that bothers anyone.
Trump knows what McCain did to to him with the fake dossier.
Working with the democrats and undermining the country.
I would be upset too.
President Trump should continue to criticize Senator McCain’s misdeeds, always with a factual basis. But he should not criticize the man. Not because McCain doesn’t deserve it. Because criticizing the man gives the maniacs an excuse to glorify and sanitize the POW and military service experiences of McCain.
No. Trump knows exactly what he is doing and why.
Cal is exposing himself. So many have been exposed by Trump, now another one.
This is the new narrative that is being pushed about Trump. Dont buy into it. They want to deflect the horrible things and hatred of McCain onto Trump. I think we need to investigate everything about McCain he has decades of corruption to uncover.
I get that complaining about someone who is dead and no longer has the ability to take back the stupid thing they did is regarded as pointless. The problem is that Trump is still dealing with McCain’s crap. I wouldn’t doubt that McCain died with a smile on his face because of it.
There is such a thing as venting, and the fact remains that to some degree this whole long drawn-out thing that has cost the taxpayers millions if not billions in addition to a tremendous amount of social cohesiveness is McCain’s fault. There is nothing that you can do to him because he is dead, but this is still his fault. The absolute only good that can come out of this is to learn from the mistakes of the past so you don’t repeat them in the future. You cannot do that if you are muzzled and can’t complain about the stupid thing someone did because they are dead.
John McPain ran, campaigned, on getting rid of ObamaDOESNTcare. But then when he had the opportunity to vote to get rid of it as it is, he didn’t do that. I have no respect for him, dead or alive. 5 or our kids have no health insurance. Too expensive. Sure you can force a company to provide health insurance, but they can make your co pay that you pay for having the insurance however high they want it. For our daughter it ws going to be $2K a month. They only made about $5K a month. THey couldn’t afford it. Then there was the annual deduction and the co pay for each office visit/medical procedure/drug. Co pay on drugs varies wildly, even with insurance. Our other son hasn’t had health insurance since ObamaCare started. He is 34, single and healthy. They wanted him to py $244 a month for California health insurance on their ObamaCare exchanges. His policy HAD to cover birth control pills, maternity, pediatric.... he is a SINGLE MAN.
I have no respect for the late McPain. Maybe he suffered brain damage.
Cal Thomas also wrote an article during CLinton reign of terror part 1, titled, In the election the truth will out. Well some of it did come out, not nearly enough, and Clinton was re-erected. Cal doesn’t always get it right..
Keating 5, should still be in prison.
We elected a man.
An actual man with balls.
America has enemies that need total, crushing defeat. John McCain was one of those enemies. There are many more.
So either strap on your plastic nut sack, or go away, Little Girly Cal.

A BIG Bump to that!
