Romney to vote against Trump's emergency declaration

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said on Thursday that he will oppose President Trump's emergency declaration to build the U.S.-Mexico border wall.
"I will vote today for the resolution of disapproval. This is a vote for the Constitution and for the balance of powers that is at its core," Romney said in a statement.
Romney is the sixth Republican senator to say he will vote for the resolution of disapproval, which is getting a vote in the Senate later Thursday.

To primary people, we the people have to join the Republican party and have a voice in our local Repub. party. We have to start from the ground up. No looking up on high for a mighty king to save us, he can’t do it without our help.
As horsemen say, “No feet no horse”.
The Democrats conquered the bureaucracy, academia and the media by slowly working from the grassroots up. They are dedicated, hardworking, absolutely relentless.
We have to start from the ground up. I am going to hold my nose and join. Even if you aren’t they type to stand up and make firebrand speeches and be a leader (I am not) just join and BE THERE as a spear-carrier when somebody does! If we fill the ranks of the Republican party, then wee can start primarying.
It’s no good to say, “He needs to be primaried”, how to do it? Join the Repub party, hold your nose and wait for your time, because there will be leaders.

Years ago when this ass-hat Romney was running for President, many of you in this forum said some very nasty things about him. At the time I thought your remarks were way off base, as I supported Romney, and I voted for him. You were right and I was wrong.

Go back to the Declaration of Independence! It supersedes the constitution which is almost meaningless in today`s corrupt legal environment. It is necessary to reestablish the Declaration principles to save the constitution and bring about a return to the country envisioned by the Fathers.
