House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is "taken aback" by the growing dissent and anger among rank-and-file Democrats over a possible resolution to formally condemn anti-Semitism, a Democratic source told Fox News on Wednesday -- highlighting Pelosi's tenuous grip on control over the House and underscoring the growing power of the party's nascent far-left progressive wing.
Pelosi even reportedly walked out of a meeting Wednesday with Democrat House members, setting down her microphone and telling attendees, Well if you're not going to listen to me, Im done talking."
The stalled resolution originated after freshman Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, for at least the second time in recent months, ignited an uproar for echoing tropes critics have deemed anti-Semitic. In February, she suggested on Twitter that supporters of Israel have been bought. The congresswoman then accused American supporters of Israel of pushing people to have allegiance to a foreign country.
Omar -- who also tweeted in 2012 that "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel" -- refused to address questions on Wednesday about accusations that shes anti-Semitic.
Meanwhile, debate over how to address her latest remarks has overtaken House Democrats in recent days.
A frustrated senior House Democratic aide told Fox News on Tuesday: "Here we are again, fighting with ourselves. I've spent another week dealing with this and not on policy."

Well, gratifying and mildly entertaining!
So are we dealing with a revolt in the ranks that will result in an ideological change and new head of the party? Or the beginnings of a party split? The Old-Democrat / Socialistjungen parties? (Will they ship Nan off to retirement in her California Dacha?)
I would rather see a Head Change and that they stick together under an Uber radical collectivist banner and drive sane working voters to the Trump Republican party.
Dangerous times either way!
There will be a great schism in their party...................fatal................
Its a coup within a coup.
May they go violent against each other..which would solve a lot of our problems. :)
Which ever way it goes I hope its fatal!
The big problem is the cultural inertial that continues to sponsor Collectivist political viewpoints in education and media. It will take several generations to get rid of that.
(And all its accretions! look out for the rats! )

I wondered how they were going to reconcile this with the left’s penchant for insisting there is nothing anti-Semitic about criticizing Israel. They’re going to walk it back.
She probably thought this Speaker job would be as easy as the last time.
Times have changed. She is looking fragile. I don’t think she can handle it this time.
What do you want to bet she suddenly decides to retire for health reasons?.....................
I think that would be plausible and...better still...very wise.
Now, we would have to consider who would replace her.
I can’t come up with a thought that would make me feel better.
I have no idea whether that is true or not. But it seems to me that most Jews should be sensitive to anti-Semitism, whether they are supportive of Israel or not, since it applies to Jews in any location, merely because of their ancestry.
Term. Limits. Yesterday! :)
Shank and pile Dems.............
They will never vote for their own political demise.
The only way possible is one of two things:
1. Exempt themselves by grandfathering themselves in.
2. Convention of States to modify the Constitution........
That’s sounds like a solution................
