RICHMOND, Va. — The political tumult in Virginia widened Thursday as the State Senate’s top Republican faced an onslaught of questions about racist photographs and slurs in a college yearbook that he helped oversee, transforming the Capitol’s nearly week-old crisis into a bipartisan reckoning over personal conduct.
The senator, Thomas K. Norment Jr., who is the majority leader, was the managing editor of the 1968 Virginia Military Institute yearbook, which included images of students in blackface.

Cute how the unsavory DNC rag New York Times takes a Democrat crisis with Dems in power and tries to introduce it as a Democrat and Republican crisis because of a Republican majority leader who is not accused of wearing blackface or assaulting a woman as part of the crisis. There is no equivalency and they know it.
The left dug and dug and came up with this just so their “media” could have that “democrats and republicans” headline.
The top three VA Democrats self imploded on little more than public information. Who knows what a little due diligence could uncover on Virginia’s U .S. Senators.
The Democrat Times is desperately searching for anything that would make this sick collapse of the VA Democrat leadership a “bipartisan” problem.
No, this is a DEMOCRAT problem that should doom the Democrat Party in VA in their elections this fall no matter how many excuses the biased Times makes for them.

Society has lost all tolerance. It is not okay that people are being vilified for things that were okay within context of their time and place. This is the scary concept of “future crime” that used to be Science Fiction. Besides that, what is wrong with “black face” portrayals of black people? What would’ve been racist is to portray black people as white people.

Let me see: So a guy who dresses in blackface and/or a KKK robe, and then has his picture taken - is no different than one of several editors of a yearbook, which likely has nearly 1000 pictures in it.
