Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) said Tuesday that she was “not prepared” to endorse President Trump in his 2020 reelection bid.
“I’m not prepared at this point to make that decision,” the senator told PBS NewsHour’s Judy Woodruff, noting that she was focusing on her own reelection campaign.
“But do you expect at some point, between now and November of 2020, to endorse the president, since you’re a Republican?” Woodruff pressed.
“I don’t know, I’m going to have to see what happens between now and then and look at what his record is,” Collins said. "I can’t imagine that I would endorse any of the Democrats who are running right now but I’m going to focus on 2020 in 2020.”
She also refused to respond one way or the other about whether she’d endorse a GOP challenger to Trump, saying she’s “neither ruling it in nor ruling it out.”

While Democrats have been lining up to challenge President Trump in 2020, there have not yet been any Republicans who have announced a challenge. Former Sen. Jeff Flake put any speculation that he may challenge the president to rest this week when he told CBS's John Dickerson that he "always said that I do hope that there is a Republican who challenges the president in the primary. I still hope that somebody does, but that somebody won’t be me. I will not be a candidate.”
Pathetic, she doesn't say she won't.

It’s just amazing that she backed Kavanaugh.
If the libs had not pissed her off so bad, she would not have.
My thought also when reading this.
She’s running for reelection in 2020 in a Blue state and the Democrats are out for her hide over the Kavanaugh vote. She can hem and haw all she wants over supporting Trump but it isn’t going to save her.

she also has a major health issue with her constant shaking head..she tries to hold it still but it doesn’t work...she needs to resign, not run for re election.
Did she endorse Hillary in 2016, or remain silent?
Maybe she’s just terrified of getting more death threats from Leftists / Antifa types like she did when she endorsed Kavenaugh.
Graham, McSally, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Gardner, Cornyn, Hyde-Smith, Collins, Sasse, Kennedy, Shelby, Ernst, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Isakson, Johnson, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Gaines, Barasso and Enzi are all Bush League Republicans.
Bush League Republicans MUST become extinct before the Republic does.
What’s so tragic is so many, many “republicans” have ignored their oath of office and their constituents over the years. It’s sort of expected with liberal democrats to be worthless grifters, but an opposition party would have avoided so much grief and bloodshed.

I don’t get it either. The Left treated Collins like garbage and even sent goons to harass her. And she still wants to be this beloved moderate poking a finger in Trump’s eye and think that the Left will still love her.
