Doctor Who Has Delivered Nearly 4,000 Babies Torches New York Abortion Law

Lifesite News reports that Dr. William Lile, a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist, has issued a blistering condemnation of New York state's recently passed state law which allows abortion up until birth.

As noted by Lifesite's Calvin Freiburger, Dr. Wile says that "modern medical technology is already giving preborn babies blood transfusions, heart surgery, and more." Many of these surgeries can occur at 22 weeks in the womb, the Alabama and Florida licensed practitioner said. Thus, “If they're a patient they're a person, and if they are a person they deserve our protection."

But, New York's bill  states that “Every individual who becomes pregnant has the fundamental right to choose to carry the pregnancy to term, to give birth to a child, or to have an abortion.” The new law also "erases the state’s recognition of preborn babies older than 24 weeks as potential homicide victims, removes abortion from the penal code entirely, and allows licensed health practitioners other than full doctors to commit abortions."

None of that seems to matter New York Democrats who celebrated the passage of the bill by clapping and smiling in the state house upon its passage. Dr. Wile responded to these cheers by saying, “Celebrating what? The governor just signed a law saying that we can take the lives of the babies in the womb up until their due date. That's nothing to celebrate...To take the lives of these babies in the womb breaks my heart. It is not good for us and is not good for America."

Dr. Wile has delivered nearly 4,000 babies in his private practice and his full statement regarding the New York Bill can be seen here:

A Sad Day in New York State.

Psalm 139:13-14 (NKJV)

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.

Her problem is that she doesn’t see babies as human beings God created to live a full life...she forgets she was one once.

One of the things I ask people...”Do you think that God gives mankind the solutions needed to correct, develop and invent the things in life we need to survive as human beings?

If she says yes then tell her one of the reasons we don’t have these is we’re killing the babies he intended to grow up and give to us those solutions.

Of course it is....and yes those who do these abortions ‘turn it off’, only if they’re not sadists, until they have no conscious left...or heart.

I understand most abortions today are married women.

Each individual sovereign state is free to define person within reason imo.

In MY 'opinion'; the folks who wrote PERSON to begin with gets to 'define' it.

No second guessing by 'individual sovereign state's is allowed!

Nope...

Marital Status
Most women getting abortions (83%) are unmarried;
67% have never married, and
16% are separated, divorced, or widowed.

Married women are significantly less likely than unmarried women to resolve unintended pregnancies through abortion.

Correlation is not causation.

In this case it may well be. While my effort was to do no more than draw a correlation it was apparent that the attitude of the Northerners toward the South remain much as they are today. A pervasive disdain for the antebellum South remains dominant among New England states today. This goes most directly to Southern values of family and community virtually lacking in states such as Boston, New York, and northern New Jersey. Certainly an abortion bill such as has just passed the NY legislature is inconceivable in the Old south. I certainly agree that correlation is not causation. There may, however, be more causative influences in the anti-life rhetoric of the North as they pertain to both slavery and abortion. There were no efforts to assimilate newly freed slaves in the North following the CW, a fact that was not true of the South. Nor is the North motivated to assimilate unwanted children, rather, it consigns them to death.

What I am still puzzled about in this NY law is how it seems to contradict Roe v. Wade. Weren’t third trimester abortions considered illegal in that law? How can NY then begin killing this almost-born babies?

What exactly do we stand for as a nation anymore?

Depends on the day of the week and the fullness of the moon. Beyond that... nothing.

“...seems to contradict Roe v Wade...”

This law was specifically designed to go further than Roe v. Wade.

The left has gone full Nazi. They are gleeful about facilitating abortions for large numbers of their own future democrat voters. More than 60% of future democrat minority babies in NYC are killed before birth.

Then they want us to allow criminals and drug cartel members into the U.S. from South America to come in, vote democrat, and replace the dead babies.

Insanity.

"In MY 'opinion'; the folks who wrote PERSON to begin with gets to 'define' it."

In the context of the 14th Amendment, a person is a citizen or an alien imo.

Also, the 14th Amendment gives Congress the power only to strengthen the rights that the states have amended the Constitution to expressly protect, not to define those protections.

In Roe v. Wade (RvW), state sovereignty-ignoring justices noted that nonpersonhood was used to define slaves not unborn children, a subjective interpretation imo.

Also, since the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect the politically correct right to have an abortion, not only does Congress not have the legislative power to define what a person is in that context, but the 10th Amendment (10A)-protected power of the sovereign states comes into play for each state to define what a person is like what NY is doing.

And if NY can get ugly and exercise its 10A powers to argue that unborn children aren’t persons, such powers unchecked by any express language in the Constitution, then surely other states like Texas can likewise use their sovereign powers to define person way they want to within reason.

This is regardless that the post-17th Amendment ratification Supremes scandalously ignored the powers of the sovereign states in RvW, arguably to win votes for state sovereignty-ignoring Democrats and RINOs.

Insights welcome.

Can someone explain to me why the left is so viciously blood thirsty over abortions? I really do not get the logic in this, just how this benefits them.

I’m repeating myself, because I think it’s a brilliant thought - that I did not think of. Expect to see this in other threads.

.........
Someone made the observation that NY’s Abort Babies For Fun and Profit Law actually sets up the perfect situation for The Handmaid’s Tale to actually happen, brought to you by the democraps, period. Think about that.

No longer a crime to coerce baby killing or kill even a full term, preborn baby, a full term baby is not a person, doctors are no longer needed to perform any murder of any baby.

Baby Farms, run by democraps and cartels, to provide new organs and blood for those who can afford it. Women coerced, bribed or forced to carry full term babies.

The Handmaid’s Tale, indeed. Don’t snicker. Caligula Cuomo just gave full license for this to happen.
