The majority of American Millennials identify as socialist, according to surveys by both Reason-Rupe and the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation. Thats the bad news. The good news is that just 32 percent of Millennials can define socialism. The frequently-wrong but never-in-doubt freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., may indeed be the voice of her ignorant generation.
During an interview on CBSs 60 Minutes, Anderson Cooper asked Ocasio-Cortez, When people hear the word socialism, they think Soviet Union, Cuba, Venezuela. Is that what you have in mind? He neglected to mention the vicious socialist regimes of Cambodia, Ethiopia, Poland, Romania, North Korea, and China, among others.

I recognize the benefit of the Internet - I agree with all the benefits that Carr also recognizes and mentions in the book.
But I also think that the Internet is making actually sitting down in quiet, undistracted contemplation of ideas, or attending to concentration on a long text, impossible for a lot of young people. And educators seem to be generally dealing with this by going with the flow, instead of being more demanding that the old standards/skills also be inculcated and required.
A vacation from the Internet, spent in a good library, might be useful for many. (But I wonder how long we will even have libraries...and it’s very frightening to think that in the future, everything we can read will come from digitized materials that have been vulnerable to censorship.)
Library serendipity = opened horizon
Internet serendipity = porn
Just kidding. I’m addicted to the internet.
And cheesy puffs...
Tweezers.
Ease up on the lipstick
And keep that mouth shut.
12 pack later.
Nahhh. I still wouldnt. Leave her to Laz.
I see Olive Oyl when I see a picture of Huma too.
I’m addicted to the Internet, too. It’s a great way to find fast facts (if you’re very discriminating with regard to your facts) and to do all sorts of other very practical things.
It’s NOT a great way to become truly educated; to learn how to communicate effectively; nor to learn manners, values or respect for others - or even to make friends.
And if you spend too much time here, really valuable parts of your brain/neural gizmos go to mush.
(Not to mention what happens to MIND, from all of that lack...)
THEREFORE, we would be wise to take every opportunity to ridicule them off the stage as much as possible. Please avoid underestimating the power of persistent, relentless ridicule to neuter the impact of such treasonous idiots.
I don't call Orcrazio Cortex anything but that or OCCASIONAL CORTEX.
I won't explain it unless they ask questions.
Equally no use is explaining that Nazi has no “t” sound ... NA-ZI, not NAT- ZI
Didn’t know that. I doubt the T will go away, tho.

I think this must be the author you suggested - thanks for the tip!
Yes, until someone forgets to hide the bowl of apples, then she turns.
At her age, some of the younger FReepers may have to deal with her for decades.
It is great beginning. written in early 90s
but there were blanks in that gun!
You need to see your eye doctor...seriously.
FMCDH(BITS)
CommieCore curriculum on full display.
I can see the resemblance. Same eyes and smile.
LOL!
“millennials” come out of colleges already primed to continue to look for the replacement parental authority they had at their colleges........they are ‘followers’ looking for their next feeding trough. Currently that comes out of Cortez’s Gov. office where she is only the mouthpiece of the two foreign cultural guys running everything she says and does. SHE herself simple carries their tune.
...maybe she is with her feedbag on .
