18 month old Richie needs your prayers

Prayer Warriors have seen this but we need everyone to offer prayers for Richie.

Picture a few months old but the only one I have available.

First a little history .... The last week of November, Richie received several vaccines which included the flu vaccine.

On December 2nd, he was hospitalized with paralysis of his arms and legs. He was put on a respirator and the outlook was bleak. I posted a note on FB asking for prayers from family and friends.

Richie is the grandson of a cousin who is more like a little brother than a cousin.

Continued thoughts and prayers for Richie and his family. They are so brave. God bless them.

Catching a few ZZZZ's in his chair.

More changes in Richie's life ....
He will be staying in Pediatric ICU for while.
His release date is on hold.
Richie has a difficult time when they lower the oxygen pressure on his vent.

Daddy and Mommy both passed their CPR tests for trached patients, but when his oxygen level drops so much, a more qualified care giver is needed.

As Grandpa said, Better safe than sorry.
I'm praying for a birthday miracle.

Oh, this poor baby, still stuck with all those tubes.

But, yes, better safe than sorry.

Thankful that the doctors are watching him closely and that his parents have been provided with special training.

But also praying for a miracle - that Richie’s condition improves soon, that soon he will be able to breathe on his own.

It kills me that Richie’s life did not have to be this hard. I wish people weren’t forced to overvaccinate and never given options or even full info like the package insert.

I do understand completely as my firstborn was attacked with every vaccination on the schedule. And has autism. So I know the pressure is nearly impossible to resist.

Gd bless this adorable child and I will be constantly continuing to pray.
