Residents of a New York town are raising hell over a notorious motorcycle gangs plans to move its headquarters into a vacant church.
The Suffolk County chapter of the Hells Angels recently bought a church in Centereach that has been vacant for years and will serve as the clubs new headquarters, Fox 5 reported.
"Nobody wants this in their own backyard. This is something you have to be very concerned about," said one critic of the plan who did not want to be identified. "Drug dealing is their major [enterprise], prostitution. That's a lot of the stuff that goes on with these guys."
A Hells Angels sign already hangs above the buildings entrance, and the new owners have constructed a chain-link fence around the property.
During its rise in popularity in the 1960s and 1970s, the FBI said that the Angels and other gangs like the Pagans, Bandidos and Outlaws MC were involved in extortion, drug dealing, trafficking stolen goods and other criminal activities, according to a Life magazine profile of the club.

Run the Lord off, and I wonder just what could possibly move in?
Ping me when they take over an abandoned mosque.
Befriend them....no one will bother you but if they do they will regret it.
Here below is how the place appears in more recent times...
They have a pretty decent size club house about 2 miles from me here in Reno. I never see anyone there though.
Set up a bar, and the Hell’s Angels could then take Communion. Muslims wouldn’t do that.
Could have been converted into a mosque, I suppose.
Except it would have to have a much larger armory than the Hell’s Angels will probably set up. Also barracks area, and installation of a minaret would be necessary further modifications.
I recall when I was around 11 or 12 seeing them outside the place drinking and, one time, sniffing glue in a paper bag. They bullied my older (15 year old brother) brother onetime as he passed by with his girlfriend.
The area surrounding that church will be the safest place in all of Suffolk County.
Gee, I wonder why?
So now buildings are churches. All this time, I thought that a church was constituted by it’s parishioners. T can tell you from experience that the Hell’s Angles are not Shriners on steroids, but it will be a great learning experience for the libtards in the neighborhood. They will give the local government what it hates most; some direct competition.
We moved out of Manhattan at the end of 1970, but when I go back to the area nowadays from other parts of New York City (Queens or Brooklyn), I very rarely see anyone outside. They used to always be out in front when I lived in the area. Very different there today. Lots of "Hipster" schmucks and other assorted a-holes. Not that there weren't plenty of a-holes there back then, hippies mostly.
Better them than a mosque.
IBTG!
Sure. Who wouldn’t want to be friends with people who engage in prostitution, sex slaves, drug dealings, murders, white supremacy, and sympathize with Nazis? Why don’t you invite them over for Christmas dinner. Should be a blast.
I’ve met some of these bikers and you’re correct. I you befriend them they are very loyal. They will keep the peace in the area. Knock on the door and offer them brownies or a cake. Bet your house never gets broken into.
If you respectful ask the not to speed down the street and keep the bike noise to a minimum they will. Don’t be surprised if they invite you to a party, and if they do accept. Most of the guys I met were ex military and we very nice people. Once they accept you as a decent person you’ll be happy they live next door.
Are you describing the mayor’s office?
If i were a club member, I wouldn’t trust the guy under the “G” in that group picture. He looks like an FBI agent.
The FBI agent is the one taking the picture...
Club bikers or actually Hell's Angels?
