Caroline Glick: Trump Stares Down the ‘Post-Nationalist’ Mob on Khashoggi
Breitbart ^ | 11/23/18 | Caroline Glick

Posted on 11/23/2018 2:00:09 PM PST by LibWhacker

At the height of the media storm over the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul last month, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, otherwise known as MBS, met with a visiting delegation of evangelical Christians from the U.S. for two hours.

One of the Saudi attendees was the General Secretary of the Saudi-based Muslim World League (MWL), Dr. Mohammad Al-‘Issa.

The MWL was a major engine for the propagation and spread of Wahabist jihad throughout the Western world since it was formed by the Saudi regime in the 1960s. The MWL founded the Muslim Students Association, which itself is a feeder for the Muslim Brotherhood, with which the Saudis cooperated until recently. The International Islamic Relief Organization, also founded by the MWL was a major terror financier. On September 11, 2001, Osama Bin Laden’s brother was the treasurer of MWL’s spinoff and virtual Siamese twin, the World Association of Muslim Youth.

In other words, Al-‘Issa is not the sort of person you would expect to find at a meeting of evangelical Christians with the Saudi Crown Prince. On the other hand, since Mohammed bin Salman became crown prince in 2017, the MWL, under Al-Issa’s leadership, has undergone a major transformation – or at a minimum, a major facelift.

Al-‘Issa shocked many when last January, on the occasion of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, he sent a letter to Sara Bloomfeld, the director of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC, expressing revulsion and condemning the Holocaust in the harshest terms.

He called the Holocaust “an incident that shook humanity to its core, and created an event whose horrors could not be denied or underrated by any fair-minded or peace-loving person.” ...

This is why they are trying so hard to get rid of MBS. He is bringing change to the world and the powers that be do not want change. Peace Maugham be the result and they can’t have that.

Perhaps, but I take your claim with a huge grain of salt. We may want to keep Saudi Arabia as an ally, but an ally that can barely be trusted. Remember, it is dictated by the Koran that Muslims lie to fool those who do not share their beliefs.

But it does share key interests with liberal democracies, led by the U.S. And to advance those common interests, the Saudis are acting forthrightly to counter and defeat the jihadist ideology that the Saudis themselves once propagated.

It appears that is the case, but I find it hard to believe that these Sunni Muslim leaders suddenly became heretics to placate us infidels, especially when Islam has infiltrated our Kafir societies and has a chance of collapsing them.

I guess we have to trust but verify. - Tom

I agree with you about what Muslims are taught and believe. But when it comes to our CIA and FBI they act like Muslims. I ask all to look back over the years what they done and told us. Go all the way back to Randy Weaver, the Ranchers out West,Waco,Miriam Carey and the way they went after Trump when he was elected. If you look at all this objectively you will find our CIA and FBI control America with lies and The Democrat Party and never Trumper’s are their allies.

Well I certainly believe there is an element of truth to what you say. I believe there are pockets of them in power, and within the ranks, who are as corrupt as the day is long. However, I don’t attribute that corruption to the entire organization of either agency. Corruption is not limited to which party they may belong to, but they seem to always be loyal to one party (Democrat) over the other. Comey & Mueller come to mind obviously. Their corruption seems to always be targeting those who are seemingly conservative philosophically speaking.

So you are putting limits on God? You think He is not capable of changing hearts?

Don't be preposterous not to mention disingenuous. I never made such a claim and you never credited God. You gave credit entirely to MBS.

Reminding you exactly what you said and what I initially responded to:

This is why they are trying so hard to get rid of MBS. He is bringing change to the world and the powers that be do not want change. Peace Maugham be the result and they can’t have that.

BTW:

“One cannot find peace in work or in pleasure, in the world or in a convent, but only in one's soul.” is the quote by William Somerset Maugham, The Painted Veil

In case you were trying to reference God was behind it, and that was your intent in the last line.

God works through strange people. He brought us Trump, there is no reason to believe He would not use a Saudie prince

If a Saudi was killed inside the Saudi consulate office in Turkey during the Obama administration, the press wouldn’t blame Obama.

That may be true, but you neither said nor implied God was involved. Thus my hesitation to accept that MBS deserved any credit. It could be the work of God. He rarely tells me what his intentions are though. 8>)

So, glad we straightened that out between us, and peacefully. 8>)

The largest group is Federal Government employees and their unions.

Of course. One of the biggest mistakes JFK made was allowing the government to unionize. But Kennedy was paying back for stealing the election for him and insuring union support of Democrats.

Even Roosevelt knew the dangers of allowing that to happen. Still it amazes me that FDR didn't do it back then.

U.S., Israeli and other diplomats have been making progress with Saudi leaders for at least 27 years. At times, Israel had a few Arab allies long before then. As for the Saudis, not all Saudi leaders have been the same.

Members of Congress would best drop the Khashoggi afair. They’re opening a box that they should leave to those who been more studious and in touch with what is going on, and they might be helping to bring an existential threat to us in the U.S.A. Khashoggi was very likely to have been involved in a plan to conquer the West through “political Islam,” and he favored Iran and the New Axis too much.

Let me give you a scenario that is not impossible. In the upcoming future America will become Muslim. Think about it but do not laugh !

Of course it is not impossible. We need to vet Muslims coming into the country, and if they embrace Sharia Law then they should be denied.
