Marsha Blackburn, a Republican Senate candidate in Tennessee, responded Tuesday to Taylor Swifts social media dig against her, and the pop star's announcement that she would be voting for Democrats in the midterm elections.

Of course I support women and I want violence to end against women, Blackburn said. I've been very active in abuse shelters and child advocacy centers. I've been advocating for women in equal pay since I was 19 years old and making certain that woman have the opportunity for maximum pay and have a good record on that.
The congresswoman continued: "We're getting ready the Music Modernization Act that I helped steer through Congress. It's going to be signed on Thursday by the president. I've been very active in that and Taylor Swift will benefit by that." The wide-ranging bill would affect payments to songwriters, copyright performance rights and royalties, among other things.

Taylor Swift decided to break radio silence and enter the political arena on Sunday night. but for her first endorsement, it didn't go down too well.
Not only did she receive backlash for her endorsement, but Taylor also has been called out by many for straight up lying about Republican candidate Marsha Blackburn.
Taylor Swift said in an Instagram post that she just could not vote for Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), citing mostly LGBT issues.
In the attack on Marsha Blackburn, Taylor badly misrepresented Blackburn's positions and made out as if the Republican candidate for Senate is a bigot and a "hater."
"I cannot vote for someone who will not be willing to fight for dignity for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, gender or who they love," Swift wrote. The singer added that Blackburn's "voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me."
The problem is that Taylor Swift used a bunch of talking points published by the LGBT activist group GLAAD.
"She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples," Swift declared.
Each of these claims massively misrepresented Marsha Blackburn's positions.

Women’s music = Garbage to cry and eat ice cream by...Junk
Oh Yeah! Thanks be safe.
youre welcome. same to you !
Taylor Swift grew up in Pennsylvania and her family moved to Tennessee to further her career in Nashville when she was a teenager. I followed her career in the country music magazines in those early years and her family was not dirt poor rural Pennsylvania, they had the money to focus the whole family’s future on pushing the teenager’s career. Taylor is not a native Tennessee woman, she is a transplant to Tennessee. She is a rich Nashville Tennessean music person, not your average Tennessee voter.
WINNING!
Indeed. Miss Swift has dixie-chicked herself right there in front of everybody. Doesn’t she have anyone who can tell her “no”?
Yes, so wholesome

Humping air at around the 36 second mark
I’d hit that
Pretty...
I don’t like her voice because she uses an auto tuner to correct her voice errors when singing live...
Still, “I’d hit that”
The fact Taylor Swift decided to go political is a disappointment. Her staying above that fray was admirable. Too bad she too has fallen into the abyss.
Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania.[1] Her father, Scott Kingsley Swift, was a financial advisor, and her mother, Andrea Gardner Swift (née Finlay), was a homemaker who had worked as a mutual fund marketing executive.[2] Swift has a younger brother named Austin.[3] She spent the early years of her life on a Christmas tree farm.[4] She attended preschool and kindergarten at the Alvernia Montessori School, run by Franciscan nuns,[5] before transferring to The Wyndcroft School.[6] The family then moved to a rented house in the suburban town of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania,[7] where she attended Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School.[8]

That was some of the worst “singing” I’ve ever heard.
the major problem with the Dixie Chicks was they dissed Country Music fans.
in the Dixie Chicks vs Toby Keith feud, fans chose Keith!
Great graphic and tweet!
Just this summer she quietly donated and supported our fallen police officers.
Now Big Hollywood has gotten to her, one the worst abusers of women of the 21st century in America.
For what? Four AMA awards? I hope they were worth it.
