Word I hear from friends on Hill is that @SenMajLdr and WH plan to forge ahead with a committee vote on Kavanaugh tomorrow and floor vote at noon on Saturday.
Yeah, I don't think he's saying that now.
Is this guy any relation to Zero’s campaign manager - who I thought was also named David Axelrod?
It must be a ROLL CALL vote too. No hiding behind “paired votes” or the like. We want traitors to the Constitution revealed. Elections will have consequences!
IF NO DEM on the Committee votes to ‘report’ the nimination to the floor then it will take two days for the process of forcing the nomination out of Committee to happen.
I expect that.
The committee hearing is NOT necessary at all. It is just eyewash that got started in 1916 when Justice Brandeis was nominated.
Henceforth, go for a floor vote without all of the posturings that have burdened the committee hearing. Yes or no.
