Word I hear from friends on Hill is that @SenMajLdr and WH plan to forge ahead with a committee vote on Kavanaugh tomorrow and floor vote at noon on Saturday.
Nice try Rats. Now vote!
They must have the votes
I thought there was a rule you had to have like 5 days between it coming out of committee and a floor vote.
That was a question not a statement.
I hope so, but Don’t they have to do cloture first? Same day?
I really just want to have posters out labeling the accusers as liars. I dont care if politicians campaign with it.
I thought they needed 30 hours of debate.
But, but there will be new credible allegations released tomorrow that will require FBI investigation. The nomination simply cannot go forwardthe democrats will insist
They MAKE the rules (and laws)!
They scheduled the vote earlier and left the required time period. I think the scheduling starts the clock.
Guess really
VOTE FOR BRETT, you BALL-LESS REPUBLICANS and you EVIL, VILE DEMOCRATS can go to hell.
The Saturday vote may be scheduled to get a head start on the 30 hours of debate.
Whew. So glad this day is over. It’s like the whole nation is jacked on adrenaline.
DC, what a sewer.
Senator Portman from Ohio voting YES!!!!!!
Kavanaugh deserves a vote. Give him one.
the GOP had better confirm him, or there
will be hell to pay in the mid-terms.
Liberals are already claiming victory.

Kavanaugh will get his turn at bat but I think I already see Amy Coney Barrett warming up in the bullpen.

Committee votes Friday.
McConnell then has to bring it to the Senate floor and get a vote to end debate. The confirmation vote ca then happen as early as the next session.
Saturday ‘end debate’ vote. Monday earliest possible confirmation vote.

HIGH DRAMA: Flake, Collins, Murkowski and Manchin - the senators who will determine whether Brett Kavanaugh gets a lifetime seat on the Supreme Court - are privately huddling
