Kavanaugh to Give Senate Calendars From 1982 to Back Up Denial
The New York Times ^ | September 23, 2018 | Pete Baker

WASHINGTON — Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh has calendars from the summer of 1982 that he plans to hand over to the Senate Judiciary Committee that do not show a party consistent with the description of his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, according to someone working for his confirmation.

The calendars do not disprove Dr. Blasey’s allegations, Judge Kavanaugh’s team acknowledged. He could have attended a party that he did not list. But his team will argue to the senators that the calendars provide no corroboration for her account of a small gathering at a house where he allegedly pinned her to a bed and tried to remove her clothing.

The calendars show, according to the person working for his confirmation, that he was out of town much of the summer at the beach or away with his parents. When he was at home, the calendars list his basketball games, movie outings, football workouts and college interviews. A few parties are mentioned but include names of friends other than those identified by Dr. Blasey.

i bet his parents kept them

That's what I was thinking. His parents probably put everything in a box in case he ever wanted to look back at who knows what from his childhood. My parents did the same for me, not that I have much interest in most of it . . . but . . . who knows.

That’s it! It wasn’t Kavanaugh who groped Ford, it was a ghost!

Why is Mr. Kavanaugh back on his heels now playing defense?

They’re trying to manipulate this circus so he has to prove a negative, that is, prove he didn’t do something.

This is why the allegation must be specific, or send her back into the sewer.

This situation absolutely calls for a picture of that white kid flipping the bird.

Not a blue laddie. It’s round and green, thicker than most pencils and was a #1 rather than the typical #2 pencil. We used it with ruled/guided horizontal notepads to learn to write the alphabet.

Dr. Ford better handcuff herself to DiFi for the trip or I foresee a “suspicious” traffic accident along the way to DC.

“Diane Feinstein has refused to let the Republicans on the Judiciary Committee see the letter she received from Christine Ford back in July”

But I bet her Chinese spy got a good look at it.

"I do not know one man that has done the same for Ford as to vouch for her as a lady. Most particularly any man from her high school."

Just a friendly reminder..... she went to an all girls school, but I get your point.

I was just recently given a box of stuff my Mom had kept that has report cards, a couple of stories I had written in 3rd grade, Cub Scout stuff, etc.

All from the early 60’s

Actually, there have been court cases where a woman couldn’t prove psychological abuse againsther abuser, but if she kept a diary going back some time, those diaries have been used as evidence.

It’s actually a good habit to have. Many times I’ve looked back over my journals because they contained stories of events I’d forgotten about, especially about something the grand kids said it did. I got to laugh all over again!

They are really neat things to pass down to your decendans. Your unborn progeny can get to know you through your writings...a wonderful gift.

When my mother died, my sister sent photos of the pages in her hoirnal. I learned about how she felt and what she thought about some things that emotionally, I needed to know.

Mine go back over 30 years.

I’m not surprised Kav kept records of his life and experiences. It’s a good thing he did.

It also shows who he was then, and who he is now. His case is strong.

had a great influence.

Who puts high school keggers on their calendar? Nobody. That’d be like putting a sunday visit to the strip club on your calendar. Not going to happen.

If, as someone suggested earlier, this news tidbit was released by Kavanaugh’s legal team, it may have been done as a signal to her that the game is up, her hoax is exposed, and she might want to be thinking about an exit strategy.
