WASHINGTON Paul Manafort, President Trumps former campaign chairman, agreed on Friday to cooperate with the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, as part of a deal in which he pleaded guilty to reduced charges.
Appearing in United States District Court in Washington, Mr. Manafort entered guilty pleas on two charges. Andrew Weissmann, the lead prosecutor, told Judge Amy Berman Jackson that there was a cooperation agreement with Mr. Manafort.

Our justice system is being used to effectuate a coup detat. What are we going to do about it?
************
What is Trump going to do about it? This is all going on under his branch of government. Its a complex and wicked problem for him, no doubt, but he has had more than enough information about the abuses of power going on inside the DOJ and FBI to justify cleaning house. But he hasn’t done it. At some point he needs to get control over his own branch. If not, he’ll suffer the consequences.
I’m a Trump supporter but he needs to do more to help himself. After months and months of waiting there is still no release of the FISA docs. Just saying.
And we must remember that as Herr Mueller and the Deep Reich have millions of dollars to fund this witch hunt

BS. Who says he is flipping?
That’s been our system since we figured out crime was organized. We decided a long time ago letting the small guys off to get the big guy was the way to go.
Good point. What Mueller is doing do Manafort is very much like what our POWs suffer when captured ... including infliction of mental torture by the torturer.
Jokes on them, Manafort has nothing
Not. Even. Worried.
Correct. I’m reminded of this truism.
We have a Republican controlled White House. We have a Republican controlled House of Representatives. We have a Republican controlled Senate. We have a Republican controlled Supreme Court.
And yet the Democrats are still in charge.
If Manafort had anything on Trump, he’d have given it up.
Doesn’t make it right.
And I don’t like our government TARGETING people just because of their political views. That’s not justice for all.
White House counsel Don McGahn recused his entire staff last summer from working on the Russia investigation because many of his offices lawyers played significant roles in key episodes at the center of the probe, former White House attorney Ty Cobb said on Wednesday.
McGahn made the decision to halt his staffs interactions with Special Counsel Robert Mueller because many of his own attorneys had been significant participants surrounding the firings of national security adviser Michael Flynn and FBI Director James Comey, Cobb said.
It stinketh to the heavens.
“Whine, complain, gnash our teeth. Thats it.
The socialist future of this country is coming.”
It’s true, and as crude as it sounds, there isn’t a lot we can do but wait for that 3 am knock on the door followed by the police and dogs.
Flips about what. Please tell us.
There’s an interesting reaction in the media. There are 2 possibilities for the investigation
1) Mueller is out to get Trump. He wouldn’t make a deal without dirt on Trump.
2) Mueller’s goal is to do a thorough but honest report. He would make a deal for any information that leads to a better report whether the info helps or hurts Trump.
Since liberal media are assuming this deal must contain dirt on Trump, they must assume Mueller has a goal of getting Trump, not of delivering a thorough and honest report.
(yes, there are many possibilities in the middle, but the media probably is going off one of these assumptions, especially if they make major inferences from a deal they have no details about)
Right?! That hasn’t been in the equation for a long time, if ever. Might as well not like the sun rising in the East, you’ve got almost as much chance of changing that.
At this point we know there was no Russian hacking of the election let alone “collusion”. The fact that Mueller is still pulling a pay check from the federal government is embarrassing for the entire country.
No, If not, well suffer the consequences.
