We all knew this feigned outrage over separating families had nothing to do with separating families, but with ensuring a steady flow of poor and dangerous elements into our country to be released into our communities and never heard from again. Now we have the proof. After the Trump administration marshalled all its security resources away from our border priorities in order to reunite the families, district Judge Dana Sabraw has now placed a halt on their deportations, even as unified family units...
Sabraw, a George W. Bush appointee, is the same judge who legislated from the bench that the administration must unite all criminal aliens with their children in just two weeks, a very dangerous policy to children. Then he refused to allow the government to take the time to conduct DNA tests and track down proper documentation to prove familial ties, even when they found that 20 percent of the parents were unfit to regain custody or werent even their parents. This judge is violating all legal norms in his pursuit of a political agenda, and ironically, he doesnt even care about these kids.

and announce deportations will continue at full speed.
All Congress needs to do is repeal all civil service laws protecting executive branch employees from being fired.
Then executive branch employees can be simply told: “ignore this bozo, or be out on the street by the afternoon”.
Because Congress WANTS judges to be issuing the orders that the Deep State desires, but which elected legislators don't want to touch because the voters won't like it.
Trump can ignore these Judges but he doesn’t
He can’t because the Left and their lapdog Mediots would have a field day.........
No bush is a conservative.
They are all lying weasels.
Big gub mint a-holes
“The only reasonable explanation for both Democrat and Republican factions being consumed with stopping nearly every Trump initiative is that both parties are determined that any person that is not an approved member of the ruling elite shall not sit in the Oval Office. “
Yes the swamp would rather see our country devastated financially and morally than continue to have an outsider in the White House.
Merits aside, I write separately to address the remedy that the plaintiffs sought and obtained in this case. The District Court imposed an injunction that barred the Government from enforcing the President’s Proclamation against anyone, not just the plaintiffs. Injunctions that prohibit the Executive Branch from applying a law or policy against anyone—often called “universal” or “na- tionwide” injunctions—have become increasingly com- mon.1 District courts, including the one here, have begun imposing universal injunctions without considering their authority to grant such sweeping relief. These injunctions are beginning to take a toll on the federal court system— preventing legal questions from percolating through the federal courts, encouraging forum shopping, and making every case a national emergency for the courts and for the Executive Branch.
I am skeptical that district courts have the authority to enter universal injunctions. These injunctions did not emerge until a century and a half after the founding. And they appear to be inconsistent with longstanding limits on equitable relief and the power of Article III courts. If their popularity continues, this Court must address their legality.
Unfortunately, this case will be moot before the new term starts in October, but I'm sure we'll have similar cases come along. Perhaps the court could take up Thomas' concerns.
Of course they would.
It is about power at that level and never about what is good for the country.
The downsides of their policies never affect them. Just like ObamaCare specifically exempted them. And when their staffers were required to pay the same as everyone else a way was found to reimburse them for that cost.
Those on the inside are not to be harmed. Everyone else is fair game. And those on the outside are not permitted to enter unless deemed worthy. Trump did not pay his dues and skipped the vetting process. He must be expunged or at least he must not be permitted to succeed.
But they're such smooth talkers! And sharp dressers!
(do I really need a sarc tag?)
I could dress real smart too if I was exempted from insider trading laws and was privy before the fact of what defense contractor were going to get contracts.
Yep.
Did not SCOTUS definitely rule two weeks ago, via the travel ban, that deporation and immigration authority rests solely with the POTUS? Trunp ought to tell the judge to shove it under the robe, and then proceed to direct ICE to refocus on stopping migrant flow at the border. Let the judge enforce his order, or Congress change the law.
This BS has to stop. Defy the legislative branch, Mr. President. You have the Articles of Power to do so in this case
You mean the Judicial Branch?.................
Bush didnt have that advantage - but considering what we now know, maybe that wouldnt have made a difference in this case.
yes, thanks. Fingers ahead of brain. Judicial is correct
There are around 650+ lower federal court judges. They’re getting in the groove of assuming executive branch powers. Congress will do nothing.
