A British caver who helped rescue 12 boys from a Thailand cave said on Monday he may take legal action against Tesla CEO Elon Musk after the entrepreneur called him a pedo on Twitter.
Musk has come under fire for launching the extraordinary attack on Vernon Unsworth without providing any justification or explanation, after the cave expert slammed his offer of a miniature submarine to extract the footballers from the Tham Luang cave as a PR stunt.
The boys and their football coach were rescued from the cave complex by an international team and after a week of intense drama.
Musk offered to assist the rescue mission by providing a submarine. The request was turned down. Musk lashed out on Sunday, saying he would make a video proving that his mini-sub would have been successful and adding: Sorry pedo guy, you really did ask for it.
No evidence has emerged to substantiate Musks claim of paedophilia.
It just had absolutely no chance of working, Unsworth said. He had no conception of what the cave passage was like. The submarine, I believe, was about 5ft 6in long, rigid, so it wouldnt have gone round corners or round any obstacles.
Musk visited the cave system himself. Unsworth said the billionaire was asked to leave very quickly. He also told CNN Musk could stick his submarine where it hurts.
On Sunday, when a Twitter user pointed out that Musk was calling the guy who found the children a pedo, the billionaire responded: Bet ya a signed dollar its true.

Musk is a big baby
Musk will simply say, “What?! I saw his great-looking shoes and figured he was a big pedo. Ped-? Pod-? Oh, my bad!”
WTF is Musk thinking?
Why the H does everyone think Musk is God?
Musk visited the cave system himself. Unsworth said the billionaire was asked to leave very quickly. He also told CNN Musk could stick his submarine where it hurts.

And that’s why he probably wouldn’t win in court. He made himself a public figure with that comment. Apparently he made an even worse comment on Twitter which was taken down. Musk took down his comment, too.
Musk wanted all the glory.
What comes to my mind is this. What was eating Musk this much, that he was compelled to fire off that comment?
Was there something to it?
Is there something else so grave in nature, that he’s striking out when it’s uncalled for?
My initial thought when it was announced that Musk had showed up with a mini-sub for the rescue was “publicity stunt by Musk.” Based upon this report, I believe my initial through was correct.
It just had absolutely no chance of working, Unsworth said. He had no conception of what the cave passage was like. The submarine, I believe, was about 5ft 6in long, rigid, so it wouldnt have gone round corners or round any obstacles.

The system they ended up using was very similar, but without the enclosure.
Is there something Musk knows or has he just cracked?
If anything...Musk looks like...nevermind.
I hate Musk, but the comments to the article are puzzling.
Dopes are comparing him to “Trump”.
Morons, all.
Saint Elon. King of the Grifters may have stepped in it this time.
Go for it, man!
Open a GoFundMe site for your legal costs and I will contribute.
There cannot be anything lower than that.
The ruling should include evil mollusk having to pay for a missile to blow up his Tesla in space.
Bc Musk knows truit’s TRUE, it was just a publicity stunt and he got called out on it, the Tony Stark wanna be.
I think that's because the news came out a couple of days ago that he made a contribution to Trump's Presidential campaign. Which, for certain proggies, is burn-him-at-the-stake material. He donated to Hillary too, BTW. Billionaire businessmen do that sort of thing.
Normally I’m a defender of Musk. But there is no getting around the fact that he looks petty in this case. It will cost him, and not just financially.
Notice how quiet Musk has been for a couple months? No more monthly wild ideas to make headlines. He needs good publicity badly because the scam is coming to an end.
Well, I think we’ll see before this is over.
