The activist base of the Democratic party is lurching left fast enough that everyone should pay attention. Activists matter because their turnout in low-turnout primaries and caucuses almost propelled leftist Bernie Sanders to victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016. Last month, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez unseated New York congressman Joe Crowley, the No. 4 ranking House Democrat in a low-turnout primary. She benefited from organizing support from the Democratic Socialists of America. Leftists have also upset establishment Democrats in statewide primaries for governor in Colorado and Maryland.

There was a civil war between The Crazy Democrats and The Insane Democrats and the Crazies won. Now they will occupy the Democrat Party and destroy it for us. Those who think there will be a blue wave or the evil donkey will NOT lose 11 Senate seats are fooling themselves. The Crazies are telling Americans we want to destroy your country and we are listening.
We should stop focusing on the two-party system in this country and recognize the real underlying influences in U.S. politics.
We have three political movements in this country trying to cram themselves into two political parties. The movements are Globalism (the dominant force in U.S. politics since at least first Bush administration), Nationalism (Donald Trump, a huge swath of American voters, and Trump's small cadre of supporters in Congress), and Marxism (Bernie Sanders supporters and the lunatics looking to take over the Democrat Party).

Or rather in an age when she is viewed as such, we have some wild eyed radicals around.

We are seeing the Dems/left in stage 4 of dying.
They are planting the seeds of a future revolt or civil war 2.
All California Republicans should vote for de León. He will then be a very low seniority Senator, less power. He will also be so far left that the nation will see the new face of the Democrat party. His legislation will be laughable.

DeLeon has openly admitted that ‘over half of his family in California is illegal, and he helped them get there’.
The arrogance & defiance of the law is another reason California is circling the drain.

Trump, the ultimate business man, capitalist has these left wing loons in a spin, a socialistic spin as a route to resist and obstruct the agenda by the President. It is a somewhat scary movement as I sit her in California. Yet maybe this is what it will take on a national scale as well as here in California to see how radical this movement is. It could simply get squished. Lets us pray.
