Sounding like Elizabeth Warren and other Dems with their eyes on 2020, Joe Scarborough is claiming that President Trump chose Brett Kavanaugh as his SCOTUS nominee for the basest of reasons: to protect himself from prosecution.
On todays Morning Joe, referring to a 2009 law review article Kavanaugh wrote in which he suggested that presidents be shielded from civil and criminal litigation while in office, Scarborough said:
There is no doubt . . . make no mistake of it, this is the reason . . . thats why he has selected Judge Kavanaugh, because of this, single, 2009 article . . . to protect himself.

Scarborough echoes Dem talking point: Trump nominated Kavanaugh to shield himself from prosecution.
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
The state of so-called national news media, in the meantime actively covering up the greatest political corruption scandal in our nation’s tto protect their Messiah and Crooked Hillary from prosecution.
I thought the Rosenbergs got the chair?
Hey joe? Hows that intern? Still dead?
I feel like I am wasting my time talking about Joe. Basically, his dwindling audience of low information Trump haters love anything he says to insult and debase President Trump.
While slightly amused by his hysterical ranting, I find it tedious and repetitious, that is boring.
I hope he goes away soon.
I predict that someone will pull a #MeToo on Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh will be forced to withdraw. Which is why Trump has Barrett as his reserve pick for SCOTUS.
When have impeachment procedures in the Constitution.
I wonder if he says such nasty things about Trump because someone with lots of information about that interns death requires it. In addition to the fact that Joe is a nasty guy.
“While slightly amused by his hysterical ranting, I find it tedious and repetitious, that is boring. I hope he goes away soon.”
I agree that Scarborough has become much less interesting than in the past. He has become a predictable, one-note Trump basher.
Because of that, I’ve made an effort to diversify my blogging: you won’t find him turning up in my stuff as frequently as in the past.
Still, like the urge to play with a bad tooth, I can’t resist the tendency to occasionally tune in and blog.
As for his leaving, I can’t see it happening anytime soon, unless he were to get caught up in some sort of scandal.
Hahahahahaha...
He looks like a Bully Magnet.
She looks like someone is holding a cat turd under her nose.
Morning Schmoe has paid a high price to get in Zika’s knickers. That said, he has been an abusive creep for a long time.
B/C what would Scarborough do if he didnt have a show? Pump gas?
CASE IN POINT Scarborough laced into Trump. Clocking in at nearly ten minutes, Scarborough ran through when he called various "scandals."
No mention of the Clintons?
No.
Trump's is the most corrupt administration in the history of our lifetime, certainly over the first year and a half, said Scarborough.
Yup, Scarborough sure knows how to keep the Trump-haters happy.
And Barrett is very lacking in experience.
Now about your dead intern??
..???..ahummm, intern.
Agreed. You may soon see that he allegedlycalled Hillary a “bitch” at a private function almost a decade ago. Will the press and DNC (sorry for being redundant) use the same Struck-Stroke-Page argument that the personal opinion of someone in no way creates bias against the target of the informal, private discussions? If they didn’t have double standards, they would not have any standards at all.
When is Morning Joe going to get some professional mental help? He is getting worse by the week.
Yes, I see the resemblance. But one thing is that the guy in Dueling Banjo’s has way more brains and common sense than Joe Scarborough has and can ever have.
