Civil war is in the air this steamy summer—at least according to the opinion polls. Many Americans are unhappy to the point of despondency about our political divisions, which have been mounting for years and have reached a crisis point during the presidency of Donald Trump. I’m not talking about mere partisanship, which is perennial in democracies, rather something more extreme—and potentially sinister.
Last week, a Rasmussen poll revealed that a shocking 31 percent of voters responded that “it’s likely that the United States will experience a second civil war sometime in the next five years.” This fear is not just relegated to left-wingers who are gravely unhappy with the current White House. While 37 percent of Democrats feared a new civil war was inbound, so did 32 percent of Republicans, per Rasmussen.
In America, talk of another civil war inevitably brings comparison to the last one, the fratricidal maelstrom that raged from 1861 to 1865. That eminently avoidable conflict, which thanks to political paralysis and stupidity wasn’t avoided, took the lives of roughly a million Americans. Since our country’s population then was about 31 million, that would be equivalent to the deaths of more than 10 million Americans today.

A second civil war is exactly what Soros had in mind when he colluded with the Deep State and DC UniParty to place Obama in the White House.
The problem is that under Trump, the lot of minorities has become measurably better, and you can tell that by the way the race hustlers and pimps are screaming bloody murder.
Had the Coughing Felon been greased into power, we would be trembling on the brink of open warfare, right now!

How can Americans be harmonious and united again?
This implies not a perfect union but at least some semblance of “we are all Americans and we are together on this matter” such as in the 1950s and early 1960s when the melting pot did not benefit all people equally but at least didn’t entail beating people up at political gatherings or refusing to accept any differences of viewpoint at family gatherings.
Where do we go from here to avoid physical war?
For the Marxist jihad, compromise is blasphemy. Anything short of total victory is unacceptable.

I asked, "well what is going to happen to those people we can't reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?" and the reply was that they'd have to be eliminated.
And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers.
And when I say "eliminate," I mean "kill."
Twenty-five million people.
I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people.
And they were dead serious.

I am tired of “both of you be civil.” It is like dealing with Stalinists or Nazis who are already making plans for their concentration camps and have already estimated how many people they will kill, and we are supposed to be “civil” and “understanding” with them.
When it turns violent, it does! And, it has been turning more and more violent, mostly by the democRATS/leftists/Communists/Socialists.
Sadly, the only alternative now is to completely submit to the despotism and cruelty of the left. The Republicans in congress are trying their damnedest to do that over the will of the people.
They belong in Dante's Ninth Circle of Hell.

That's the way I see it, too. And the article, after talking at length about why no civil war is possible, pretty much concludes or at least admits the possibility of the same thing by citing the similarities with Yugoslavia.
Actually, although my historical knowledge of the two conflicts (Spain & Yugoslavia) is hazy, I think we've got kind of a combination developing. Spain, I think, was primarily political and Yugoslavia - again, if I recall correctly - was ethnic. What is happening here and now is a mix.
The communists took Spain’s gold reserves and shipped them to Stalin in Moscow. Spain is just now recovering from that.
