Washington - The Democratic National Committee is eyeing eight American cities for its 2020 Democratic National Convention, a party official tells CNN.
The DNC sent requests for proposals to a host of cities and received responses from eight: Atlanta; Birmingham, Alabama; Denver; Houston; Miami Beach; Milwaukee; New York; and San Francisco.
"The DNC sent the original letters of interest to a broad list of cities that have traditionally been able to meet the preliminary requirements for serving as a host," the official said. "We expect the entire selection process to play out over the next year."

Thank god Boston is not on the list. 2004 was a nightmare, they shut down the whole downtown along with highway that ran next to Boston Garden. The city streets were jammed with limousines and self absorbed entitled snobs(much more than usual). Never again, I hope.

Exactly! Don’t Mess With Texas! ...Houston already has massive traffic problems and is full of illegals.
They say they would like a purple State, so that’s not Texas, in spite of 4 large cities being open for illegals.
Besides, I’ve read that the DNC was heavily in debt; so, how can they afford a large convention? The DNC is well known for not paying their debts after conventions.
