The Manhattan District Attorney's office is investigating allegations of violence against women by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who resigned just hours after accounts of abuse by four women.
Danny Frost, a spokesman for Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr., said in a statement late Monday that prosecutors would look into the claims.
It's an unusual twist: Schneiderman's office had been tasked with investigating the Manhattan District Attorney's office over its handling of a 2015 sex assault probe involving Harvey Weinstein that resulted in no criminal charges.
On Twitter, Donald Trump Jr. offered pointed commentary. He showcased one of Schneiderman's tweets from last year saying that he would remind President Trump that no one was above the law, with Trump Jr. adding, "You were saying-?"

If Cyrus Vance really investigated this the list of names that would fall would be historical, so he will punt like the rest of the crooked pols in NYS.

The Democrats and the rest of that cabal you mentioned have more than a few sex scandals they don’t ever want to see the light of day. The dam is about to burst on these people. Schneiderman resigning is a big deal. He’s one of the most prominent Democrats in the country. He has connections to and knows what goes on in the “Swamp”. There are more than a few prominent Rats in New York and across the country who are worried about this loser AG in New York imploding!

you know, I was thinking the exact same thing.
Easy to jump on this as a lefty phenomenon...and certainly it is that.
But it’s actually a right wing phenom as well. How many anti-gay campaigners have gotten caught, well, being gay? How many family values advocates have gotten busted in some sort of affair, or whatnot?
Perhaps it is conceptually most correct to note that this is a politically phenom, rather than just an ideologically one. Politics seems to attract the sick people, and seems to magnifiy their sicknesses....
Vance is just another Schneiderman.
