A group called “Equity In Action” has rented 25 billboard spaces throughout Portland for rich, guilty, white liberals to absolve themselves of their inner racism and feel like they’re doing something positive. For the rest of us, however, we just get to sit back and laugh at these idiots.
The billboard themes, which read “Portland… is your WHITE FRAGILITY showing?”, “Who is allowed the presumption of innocence?”, and “Where was my presumption of innocence” appear to center around two specific events; One where Terrell Johnson was shot by police after he was threatening people with a knife at a transit station before running away from the cops, and Larnell Bruce, who was run over by a couple of white people out front of a 7-11 after an argument with his girlfriend.
Somehow these incidents are the fault of all white people in Portland.

This is truly offensive. I don't agree with the tone of the article, that we should just shrug at their stupidity and ignore it.

I'm thinking of trying to organize protests, possibly at the home of the company's executives and lawyers. (Given that they are now fair game.)

These racist pigs are pathetic.
Maybe scoffing at it really is the best tack. To do otherwise eggs on a meme that is already poisoning much of black society.

The solution to this is simple: EMBRACE your white privilege. I do it at every opportunity, as vociferously as possible. Why apologize for a GOOD thing?
Like the associated cement, liberal Portlanders have their minds permanently set, and impervious to reasoning or logical thinking…

We could call it other things.
“Respect privilege.”
“Responsibility privilege.”
even “Redneck [of any color] privilege” to mess with their city heads.
To sit there and wail while not even trying to use what you got, doesn’t encourage folks to help you more.
Can anyone imagine another group being singled out like this on a billboard?

Of course not. Those are stereotypes, not all Jews are rich, not all Blacks are angry, and not all Whites are fragile.
But no company would ever dare to put those other signs up, whites stand alone in being victims of legal discrimination, and the soft campaign of denigration is unending. (Watch TV for one night, particularly the commericals. White guys are always clueless, needing to be shown how to do it by some chick or hip minority. Every Single Freaking Time.)
This raises it up a notch though. This is an official campaign of villification. The Nazis had signs about Jews, but I can't think of too many other examples like this.

They AREN’T liberal, which is the very problem. They are a faux caricature of liberal. They are Robin Hoods at best with no gospel to preach.

My white privilege got me onto the court at MSG with them for a shootaround...costly tickets from the missus for our sons, grandson and myself. Best Christmas present ever!
When they say “white privilege” the mean “black entitlement.”
Bet the ones putting up the billboards are white. Shouldn’t they do the right thing rather than posing?
