The solution to this is simple: EMBRACE your white privilege. I do it at every opportunity, as vociferously as possible. Why apologize for a GOOD thing?
We could call it other things.
“Respect privilege.”
“Responsibility privilege.”
even “Redneck [of any color] privilege” to mess with their city heads.
To sit there and wail while not even trying to use what you got, doesn’t encourage folks to help you more.
Agree logic is a wonderful thing.
I have a cultural privilege. My parents taught me to be a responsible citizen and be self sufficient.
