Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman speculated the Mueller special counsel probe will result in some sort of finding that will lead to a “constitutional crisis.”
That according to Friedman will lead to former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama having to step and prevent a constitutional crisis.

There was no threat to the constitution at all, in fact, it worked just fine, and everything went as it should have, governance-wise. Similarly, there is no looming issue here that requires hauling out the old dead horses of the past .
As long as Friedman is posting this lunacy, he might as well suggest digging up the rotting corpse of Ted Kennedy so he could be a “legitimate authority” to deal with a constitutional crisis.

Freidman is trying to get ahead of the eventuality that Trump will be impeached and removed. “Controlling the narrative” to prevent the peasants from revolting.

Not only has this investigation not found anything at all to hang on Trump, parallel investigations have found substantial and documented criminal conduct by the very people engaged in the coup against Trump.
I think it will be a hybrid of the first Civil War with whole areas of the country seceding and some area where there is no demarcation, mostly in the blue states.
