President Trump said Friday that construction of his promised border wall would start "immediately" after signing the omnibus spending bill, which included $1.6 billion in funding for the wall.
"We're going to be starting work literally on Monday," Trump said during an event Friday at the White House. "We have a lot of money coming to the border."
Trump had threatened earlier Friday to veto the spending bill Congress passed on Thursday because it did not include sufficient funding for the wall and because it omitted expiring protections for young, undocumented immigrants.
Agree with Coulter and Laura Ingraham. This is one massive betrayal by Trump. There is no way to even put lipstick on this pig. MAGA is over, get over it. Pelosi is all primed to take control of theSpeaker’s gavel after mid-terms.
They are both self interested bomb throwers. Do not give weight to their opinions. MAGA is not over. It has been derailed a bit by the Mueller soft coup and GOP enabling. Frankly, that POTUS has been able to get anything done while opposed by his OWN party is breathtaking.
We need to fully support POTUS because there is no alternative. It’s uniparty or Trump. It’s that simple. Sorry.

There was absolutely no downside to Trump vetoing the bill, and no upside for him to sign it.
But signing it soon after tweeting that he might veto it was (IMHO) a politically mortal mistake that will alienate enough voters to cost him the election in 2020.
Yes trump signed the death warrant for any wall ever. this is whay millions are so pissed. He told us “ we will build the wall even if we shut the government down!” But he sold us out to bloat the military. No wall at all!! Absolutely gone.
