News conference at the White House concerning the Omnibus Spending Bill. 1:00 P.M. 30 replies 20 retweets 113 likes
(the Trump veto)
I just watched Andrea Mitchell interviewing obamas White House lawyer. She said...Don’t you miss the days of No Drama Obama?
I think you may be right.
President Trump certainly knows how to create drama! And I love it.
I see that all Ivanka’s pet programs got funded:
Apprenticeships: Federal money for apprenticeship programs will increase by $50 million, and theres a $75 million increase for career and technical education programs. The office of House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) noted that other job training and workforce development programs also stand to benefit, including more money for child care and early head start programs to help make it easier for job seekers to enter or return to the workforce. This has been an area of concern for former Apprentice star Ivanka Trump.
Rush saying congress does not have the votes to override a veto.
Of course not. The Dems will want to drag this out and create as much chaos as possible before agreeing to supply the votes to pass a bill. And you can bet any deal they agree too will make this stinking pile of garbage bill smell like a rose.
If this is simply to “introduce” Bolton the warmongering walrus, I’ll turn it off quick
The House spending bill is a disaster. Trump is taking a strong stand against it so he doesn't end up in a position where he might veto it.
He's sending a strong message to the U.S. Senate to fix all the sh!t in the House bill.
According to Rush L, the Senate does not have the votes to over-ride a VETO at this time.
VETO this turkey!!
Well, that does involve spending but not the tax payers money.
VETO, Sr. Presidente!
It certainly takes some steam out of the kids against guns thing going on.
The ONLY words I want to hear out of President Trump’s mouth is “I AM VETOING THIS BILL” BYE BYE
Ha, I predicted Trump would sign the bill based on VP Pence out and about yesterday saying how ‘great’ it was. Looks like I might be wrong! :D
The bill is past both chambers and is at the WH.
This isn’t about Hilliary!...................
Eight of those 'no' votes were Democrats. In order to reject Trump's veto those votes will change is a New York minute. That would give it 75 votes in the Senate. House is the iffy one.
Trump literally said conference is about Omnibus bill.
So now he’s against it?
