Trump’s DOJ filed a lawsuit against California late Tuesday evening over their dangerous and unlawful sanctuary city policy being enforced by politicians such as Governor Jerry Brown.
Speaking in Sacramento Wednesday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions blasted California lawmakers for protecting illegal aliens in their ‘sanctuary cities.’
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) immediately fired back at the Trump administration’s move to finally put an end to the insanity of sanctuary cities.
The Democrats don’t even try to hide it anymore. They openly fight for the invaders who are leeching, killing and raping American citizens.
Pelosi tweeted: “The people of California will not be bowed by the Trump Administration’s brazen aggression and intimidation tactics. We will fight this sham lawsuit and will fight all cowardly attacks on our immigrant communities. #ProtectDREAMers”

Immigrant communities? Illegal aliens aren’t immigrants, they are invaders.

The federal government can’t draft state officials, including state law enforcement, to enforce federal laws.
This was made clear when the USSC ruled that Clinton couldn’t force sheriffs to enforce federal gun laws. The court correctly ruled that elected state officials like sheriffs are sovereign.

In that case they can’t interfere. I am pretty sure a warrant for a prisoner about to be released has to be obeyed, but maybe the law is fuzzier than I think.

I am pretty sure it has to go up the judiciary chain of command. I doubt highly that the Supreme Court would allow skipping over lower courts as acceptable.
The open borders radicals whine and get their panties in a wad because ICE arrests illegal aliens other than the target illegal alien. They create the situation that increases the number of times this happens by refusing to allow ICE to arrest the illegal alien targets in jails and court houses.
The open borders hacks claim it is illegal for them to hold criminal illegal aliens past their release date. But, they refuse to notify ICE when the criminals are scheduled for release so ICE can schedule officers to be there on the release date. This causes ICE to have to look for the targeted criminals out in the community where they are almost certain to encounter illegal aliens who are not targets. Just because the illegal aliens they encounter are not targets does not mean they are not subject to arrest when ICE stumbles across them while seeking the targets. So the sanctuary city is the cause of the situation they decry.
On top of that, more often than not the non-target illegal aliens are harboring the target illegal aliens. That is a federal crime. ICE should charge them with their crimes but rarely do.
And while we’re on the subject of federal crimes, the open borders mobs claim most illegal aliens are here working and have committed no crime except being here illegally. Well, that is BS. There are actually very few illegal aliens in that group. If the illegal alien is working on the books he filled out and signed a USCIS FORM I 9. Which claims that he is legally allowed to work in the U.S. The form says in bold letters that he is attesting that the information is true UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY. When he signs it the illegal alien commits a federal felony. If the Illegal alien is working off the books he is violating federal tax law.
ICE almost never charges these criminals with these crimes but they should. Instead of arresting them for jut being in the country illegally they should arrest them on the federal felony and add the charge of being in the country once they are in custody.
Since the District judge ruled to set aside the lawsuit and injunction, the EO stands until the libtards appeal and get another injunction. In the interim, Justice can act on the EO. Ice has got a free hand.
Nancy Pelosi has taken 10’s of millions in bribes. She and her husband have over $100 million on a senators salary. Investigate her to shut her up.
