It’s not news mainstream media lined up en masse behind Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential campaign, but it is worth noting how many in the media were willing to compromise their ability to report fairly on the election by connecting themselves to her campaign. At least 65 prominent mainstream media personalities were participating in dinners, cocktail receptions and other functions, according to an analysis of material exposed by Wikileaks. The events were held ostensibly to make them feel like insiders to the campaign and promoters of its objectives.
In what was billed as an off-the-record meeting for drinks with Clinton campaign insiders, at least 38 New York-based media members attended a dinner and drinks party in April 2015 thrown by the campaign’s Joel Benenson.

Like many, I get my news from right here since this is the best source. This then leads to an endless number of links that can be reviewed… some of them opinion and some of them ‘original sources’. When it comes to television, I flip mostly flip through Fox, MSNBC and CNN… I want to hear what Hannity, Carlson and Ingraham have to say and who they are interviewing but I also want to hear what the latest crap is that is being said on MSNBC and CNN that they are trying to foist on to the public. The thought that I had today was this… there must be some really interesting discussions going on in the backrooms of MSNBC and CNN that go sort of like this…. “Yeah, I know that we are duty bound to push the narrative of Trump and Russia, Russia, Russia and we also want to make sure that we spin everything that is going great to make it sound like Trump is driving us off a cliff…. and we must of course protect Maobama at all costs from any exposure to anything…. and it goes without saying that Clinton’s malfeasance must NEVER see the light of day. BUT, the people aren’t buying it and the evidence is now mounting in an exponential and it’s so readily apparent that we are lying through our teeth. At what point do we abandon this wreck of a course we are on, do a total mea culpa and get back to reporting actual news again? Because if we don’t, we are going to lie ourselves into complete oblivion! Do we have to destroy ourselves completely before we’re allowed to abandon this evil mission?

And remember in those countries the media is primarily government owned! Here in the US the media is for the most part privately owned. However that does not seem to guarantee independence or even a healthy skepticism in the news boys & girls.

Hillary had many closed-door meetings over the course of the campaign.
So, can’t expect every media sycophant to be at this one meeting, some of them were at the Chicago closed-door meeting, some were at the L.A. closed-door meeting, some at the Seattle closed-door meeting, etc.
