RIP. Another name on the wall - GladesGuru will not be forgotten.

I am inheriting the technical directorship of the Everglades Institute property until we can find an investor who wants to make it the research and education nexus Jan wanted it to be. There are some sticky spots in the zoning laws, but I think once the local officials see what we're doing they'll be all for it. The world has changed a bit for the better. I'm hoping to make the most of it.

BTW, this is my third book.

Of all past FReepers this one hits me the hardest.

The Glades and Big Cypress were a big part of my youthful stomping grounds. Had many private conversations with GG over the years.

He will be missed.

Sad that FR loses such a valuable Freeper. I did not know him but I can see he was highly respected. I pray he is now with Our Lord in Heaven, in the presence of Our Eternal God.
