OIG as well today - if supporting evidence is to be released from the 1.2 million pages submitted to Congress for the memo, it may originate from there.

I understand quite well how Trump operates. That isn’t the point. If this memo business is really as damaging and earth-shattering as the Republican congressmen have indicated, then there are serious matters of justice and constitutional malfeasance at play. Matters like that should be exposed to the light of day as quickly as possible, not used as props for theatrical purposes.

If the Republicans backed down at the 11th hour and withheld the memo, they would never live down the humiliation. The hype over the memo has all been generated by the House Republicans who read the memo and called for its release. They promised “bombshell” “shocking” etc.. If it’s not released, or it turns out to be just a statement of generalized concerned with no names, Nunes and his buddies may as well resign. Hoping for the best but, as always with the GOP, preparing for disappointment.

Listening to Beck and he read some report (I didn’t catch where) that said Trump has approved release of the memo, it has to go back to the committee to re-vote on changes and then its out. Could be anytime now since Trump approved.When it comes to anything to do with President Trump, beck is FAKE NEWS!

The Memo being released puts all that in the rear view mirror. --
Just a question of timing and tone. Sunday morning chat shows will try to strike a time balance between SOTU stuff and "memo stuff." There is no way to predict how that time will be split differently if the memo is out vs. not out.
The FBI/FISA or whatever is in the memo, that front is open now, just running substantially on speculation. when it comes out, the press tone will shift totally to "debunking" and "delegitimizing" the memo.
