My cousin is an anesthesiologist. I think she is really smart, but she works 13 hours every day and perhaps doesn't have time to think. She is saying the dumbest leftist things, but I know she is not a bad person.
Perhaps you guys have some pieces of advice on how to talk with your family when they've been fooled like that.
I talk slow and use little words.
Fortunately I don’t have any of those.

Tell her she has been misinformed.
She has probably absorbed many false assumptions about reality.
I stop interacting with relatives who cannot think and reason. Relatives who are actively working to hurt me and my family see severed relationships.
She knows bigger words than me.
I ask leading questions that have obvious answers.
“Hi”. “Good to see you”....”Goodbye”.
I don’t waste my time with them.

That depends on the person, but I usually start by asking questions. Socratic method. Try to find common ground and then go from there.

My sister and her husband and daughter are leftists. We live in different states and barely communicate. Sad but we are polar opposites. She loved Obama. I couldn’t get past that. We aren’t even Facebook friends now.
