I think meeting with Schumer makes President Trump look ‘in charge,’ reasonable, and Presidential.
I’m pretty sure the president can declassify just about anything.
If the report from the House Intelligence Committee became declassified, then any of the feisty Republicans in Congress who wanted this to be released could simply release it.
You wouldn’t need the president to do the releasing.
I wonder if he invited Schumer’s BFFs ... Señor Graham and Señor Flake as well? Traitors....
The memo and all the FISA information came from the executive branch. He can release it anytime he wants. In fact, as the Special Council digs into the Russian/NRA (business man) connections for anything... anything and soon to drag brain-dead Bannon in, now is the time to shut Mueller down.
Of course, if Trump doesn't hold fast to border wall/ending chain migration/ending VISA lottery and delayed voting on illegals, then much of this becomes moot. We will lose the midterms and Trump is in jeopardy anyway.
Hope Trump records the meeting and then blasts Chuck when he lies about it.

This is only a continuing resolution, not a budget. IOW, this debacle is going to happen every month. Don't get all skeered 'r nothin', the end result will be that the RINOs are getting intimidated, the POTUS (and Upchucky) will get the credit for preventing the shutdown -- OR, the RINOs and Demwits will rightly be blamed for taking everyone to the brink over the fate of ILLEGALS who DON'T BELONG IN THE COUNTRY at the expense of US CITIZENS, including gubmint employees.
Words matter. “Invite” vs “summon”.. media used ‘invite’.

Trump said he would sign any deal “the people in this room” would agree on. Sen. Tom Cotton was in the room. He said Durbin and Graham’s ideas could roll into the garbage can, or something like that.
Cotton, Perdue, Steve Miller, etc. would never agree to present Trump with the Democrat-Rino deal.
Trump knew exactly what he was saying.
Trump is more patient than I.

No, I see what he is doing. Everything has to be exposed as to being directly the Dems fault. Any direct action on Trump’s part would lead to wailing by the press. Just give them the rope. They must be hoisted on their own petard.
