Those of you (most of you) who haven't been watching the new Star Trek series, Star Trek Discovery, are missing out on a entirely new level of political correctness. The show features a black female protagonist named Michael; her boyfriend, a Klingon disguised as a Muslim-Arab security officer; an obese female cadet who is a genius in all areas of science; and a gay couple, one of whom is black and possibly also hispanic.
But that isn't enough for SJWs. They actually worry that the black gay character, who is also hispanic, is not visibly hispanic.

" They actually worry that the black gay character, who is also hispanic, is not visibly hispanic." Uh, hello. Simple fix for that dumbasses. Sombrero! How hard is that? Maybe a necklace with little pinata charms on it. Sheesh. I can proudly say that I have not ever seen one episode of this. Is bill shatner spinning in his grave? Guess not since he isn't dead yet but he may approve anyway. I just don't know.

Maybe he should wear a sombrero...

Or would that be cultural appropracistiation?

I think (hope) that this sort of indoctrination has been pushed too far. I think people see it. I think people don’t like it. I think there is a push back arriving (Trump is part of this) where people will feel comfortable rejecting the blatant propaganda.

What? no trans? no one who was so insane and so self-loathing and full of disgust that he/she/it lopped off his/her/its primary sex organs and attempted vainly to graft fake substitutes?
Why that’s just what a space-exploration mission needs.
Every f*cking thing has become a political football.

I saw the latest ST movie on amazon prime because it was free. It was entertaining in a sort of “tv-movie” sort of way. Some of the effects were great, but the planet where they were imprisoned looked like it was shot in the back lot.
I’ve pretty much lost interest. Sad. I was a HUGE fan of TOS.

Sounds like the show’s producers and writers explore each other’s s-holes right here on earth.
