Omarosa Manigault denied Thursday that she stormed the White House residence after being fired by Chief of Staff John Kelly, who she reportedly swore at in a dramatic exit from the White House two evenings ago.
Manigault demanded evidence of her alleged tirade, calling a report that she did '100 percent false' and claiming she was the victim of a 'vendetta' from a reporter spreading the unverified account of her dismissal.
'I resigned, and I didn't do that in the residence as is being reported. John Kelly and I sat down in the Situation Room, which is a very secure, very quiet room in the White House and we had a very candid conversation,' Manigault said on ABC. 'And I wanted to make the one-year mark that was one of the goals that I set out to, and then get back to my life.'
More than one news outlet has reported that Kelly fired Manigault, who is then said to have rushed the residence and demanded to talk to the president. A single reporter, longtime White House Correspondent April Ryan, has said that Manigault was 'very vulgar and cursed a lot' at Kelly on her way out.
The U.S. Secret Service confirmed Wednesday evening that Manigault had been terminated and her access to the White House complex revoked.
In a tweet, the agency denied that its personnel was involved in the 'physically removing' of Manigault from the grounds, as reported. Manigault had also been said to be cursing and yelling at Chief of Staff John Kelly.
A second message revealed that she no longer clearance to be on the property, despite earlier claims from the White House that she would remain in the president's service until Jan. 20.

There will NEVER be proof or anything like it.
Omarosa is one of those people that people love to hate.
Trump recognized her marketing potential and kept her on his show. But he also recognized that she was not stupid. And so they had a good working relationship.
He does not surround himself with yes-men.
The main stream media obviously is launching a war on strong minority women. There needs to be a Congressional hearing!!! Perhaps jail time!!!
I think she’s a little rough, but very smart. President Trump definitely knows how to get good work from people like that. I think she has served him well.
There have been rumors of Omarosa and her prickly nature toward other staffers and she did get into a live verbal spat with one reporter that got reported months ago.
Something wasn’t right, or Kelly wouldn’t have fired her, and with Trump’s permission.
She’s now announcing she will write a book. Oh, goodie. That will help. /s

The outgoing aide, who enjoyed unfettered access to the president before Kelly replaced Reince Priebus as Oval Office gatekeeper, said she and other staffers “all had to adjust to his militaristic style.”
“John Kelly brought much order to the White House,” she added.
Her colleagues have often questioned her role as director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison.
“People had problems with my 14 years with the president,” she said.
The Secret Service has denied that its agents had to escort Manigault Newman off the premises, but noted that it had “deactivated” her security pass.
On Thursday, she said the agency has merely changed her security pass to restrict her access to some areas.
Manigault Newman also was asked about reports that she was displeased with the president’s handling of the rally by white nationalists in Charlottesville and with his support for Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.
“I have to be very careful,” she said, noting that she still works for the president until Jan. 20. “There were a lot of things I was unhappy with. I have quite a story to tell.”
Meanwhile, TMZ reported Thursday that Manigault Newman believes she’d be a good candidate for a future undersecretary position or an ambassadorship in Nigeria.
Another role she’s open to is as a liaison for Trump’s administration in her new home state of Florida, TMZ reported.

We better wait and see about that. If it’s she was circumventing Kelly and sending the president articles that were disturbing or infuriating this was something Kelly wanted stopped and addressed.
She was escorted out of the White House and grounds by security. The Secret Service denied being a part of her “removal”, which implied that she was removed, perhaps physically escorted. Accused of trying to reach the White House residence was a bridge too far for a dignified exit.
Omerosa will be paid through January 20th. She will not, however, be on the job until then because she cannot return to the White House. Reportedly.

April’s been having spats with Omarosa since February so she’s showing her claws & doing her best to draw blood. since Omarosa is a ‘minister’, the cursing was a particularly nasty addition. After watching April’s disgusting, disrespectful behavior in a daily press briefing (Monday, I think), her ‘piegate’ tweets all but calling Sarah Huckabee a liar, & now with her fake news story about Omarosa, when she shows up for the daily briefing today, I would like to see her find out her credentials have been revoked. Of course, that would start a firestorm so I doubt it would happen. There is some retribution - April did not receive an invite to the WH Christmas Party, first time in 20 years.

I’m more concerned about a guy like Kelly vetting everything, and only allowing things through that fit Kelly’s warped worldview. It isn’t good to have a single gatekeeper for information. Chief of staff isn’t meant to be junior presidential decision maker... he is simply meant to organize the staff, make arrangements the president needs, etc.
But Kelly is a General so everyone gets enthralled.

I wouldn’t. And this story was the -opposite- of doing the current administration a favor. That is why she shouldn’t be believed.
I thought she was the wrong choice for the job from Day One. However, being the self-promoter that she is, I expected to see her on TV a LOT - I really didn’t hear much about her tenure, so she obviously wasn’t doing the ‘outreach’ Gen. Kelly wanted from her.
Meh. A minor player, where all the world is a stage.
