WKYT - According to our CBS affiliate, WKYT, Kentucky State Representative Dan Johnson, who was under investigation for alledged sexual molestation, has committed suicide, according to a report from WDRB in Louisville.
Bullitt County Sheriff Donnie Tinnell said Johnson killed himself on a bridge on Greenwell Ford Road in Mt. Washington, and the gun was recovered.
Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin released the following statement:
Saddened to hear of tonight’s death of KY Representative Dan Johnson...My heart breaks for his wife and children...These are heavy days in Frankfort and in America...May God shed His grace on us all...We sure need it... - Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin

This is the second FR thread on this, and people are making light of it. The comments on the other thread were terrible. The man had a wife and children. He claims his innocence and says this was too much coupled with PTSD. I don’t know if he’s guilty. However, guilty or innocent, suicide is not the answer. If he was guilty he should have faced the consequences of his actions and repented, and if innocent, he should have cleared his name. What his wife and children are left with is devastating.
If these allegations turn out to be false, the trial by media atmosphere we are in will have claimed a life.
Suicide is not draining the swamp. How would his wife and children feel to see that?

This was ALL coordinated by the left and by Kirsten gillabrand’s presidential run political team- they smelled blood- and pounced long ago- setting up and preparing for this moment- When she played the sexism card- it became instantly clear she was playing the democrat’s playbook through and through- and who knows, maybe her team was the one that hired the hit jobs on moore by allred to pave the way to knock out not just moore, but also anyone else who stands in her way for a political run later- she may be just as crooked and corrupt as the last female contender ever was- maybe more so- these accusations and banding together of the 8 women etc are all just the tip of the iceberg- Let’s just hope it flops- otherwise she may be a pretty dangerous opponent- just a prediction here- could be wrong- but I smell the democrats political wagon rolling along and gaining speed quickly on this whole ‘me too’ charade

A Gillibrand/Kamala Harris ticket looks more likely by the day. She will be able to tap into big NYC Dem money to get her campaign off the ground. Harris is not ready for the top of the ticket but gives them the black female the Dems want for the ticket.
