Texas Congressman Joe Barton sent nudes and illicit text messages to a woman, and he's apologizing for the graphic image first revealed by a Twitter user.

Barton, a Republican, sent the nude photo showing his penis. The Twitter user censored the image, and also revealed a sext that reads, "I want u soo bad. Right now."

I’m sort of assuming that most men have sent junk pics at some point in their life.

Nope. Never. Even if there were such things as cell phones with cameras back when I was really healthy and some women would hit on me I would not have done it. I would have been too worried something like that would come back to haunt me and I also would have found it disgusting even back then.

One thing I think people don’t realize is that even though the body ages, sexual urges still happen.

Irrelevant! He's a (pardon the expression) member of congress and he showed his junk over the internet. Somebody who displays that poor a judgement should not be in congress. We have to apply the same standards to our side as we do to the Dems.

He is a politician. All politicians are sociopaths and to themselves, they think everyone adores and worships them. That moron honestly believed that sending that picture was going to make the woman so horny that she was going to rush right over to service him.

As long as we have politicians and not citizens in Congress we are going to not only have these problems but are going to lose the rest of our freedoms.

Let’s get a part time congress like Switzerland has. They stay in their districts, keep their real jobs. Visit DC once a month, have online voting, etc. These guys have too much time and way too much d*ck in their hands.

That is a superb idea. I think some states have legislatures that work that way. New Hampshire might be one.

The problem with Congress is that the reps go there and stop being everyday people. They become swamp rats!

Joe’s first campaign was to succeed Phil Gramm in the House. In 1993, he ran in the special election to fill the Bentsen Senate seat, but pro-Roe v. Wade Kay Bailey Hutchison won the prize. Joe has always maintained a pro-life position. It would seem to me that he should retire and forget politics. Thirty-three years is enough.

OK. This is just me, as I have never had a conversation with any woman, including my wife, where sending these pics was the topic, but I do not think a single woman I have ever met would want one of those pictures.

The youtube shows the speaker drawing a chart about a man’s sexual desires. An earlier video shows him drawing one of a woman’s, something like “rises between 16 to 28 and then levels off and then declines after menopose...”.

The man’s drawing has him saying something like “A man’s sexual desire peaks at age 17” [draws a vertical line straight up] “and then declines after that” [carefully and slowly draws a basically horizontal line that is sloping downward every so slightly as to be imperceptible all the way to the end of the page] “until he is dead” [draws a vertical line straight down].

He is VERY funny - and accurate IMHO (I’m a guy). “Oh - you women think men are disgusting pigs - you don’t know the HALF of it.”
