Alabama Secretary of State: If State GOP Pulls Support for Moore and He Gets the Most Votes, Election Would Be Null and Void
On Mondays broadcast of the Fox News Channels Fox News @ Night, Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill (R) said that the Alabama Republican Party can formally pull its support for its Senate nominee Judge Roy Moore, and if this happens and Moore still gets the most votes, the election would be null and void.
Merrill said Moore could withdraw from the race, or the state Republican Party could formally pull its support. He further stated that if that happens and Moore receives the most votes, our election would be declared null and void, and Governor Ivey would have to call another special election, and wed start the process all over again.

Don't be so sure. You mentioned people got jobs and insurance and mortgages. Yeah, I got those.
You mentioned people have kids to diaper.
I got no kids.
I'm perfect for the job.
And now we know why there is nothing but scumbags wall to wall in DC. It’s the only thing the great “Mass Media” will allow to run for office... THEY will chose only the ones that fit their ideals....and that, of course, is a liberal one. Anyone else is mercilessly attacked...
To be elected Senator from Ala, must the winner get a majority of the votes, or just the most votes? It’s a runoff state, where the two top winners of the primary go to the general election. But is there were to be a write in, and Moore and Jones were also on the ballot, chances are that no one would get a majority. What then?
The establishment is telling us their new approach. If an outsider is nominated, he shall not be permitted to run. If he wins the primary, he shall not be permitted to stand for election. If he stands and wins, he shall not be certified. And if he somehow gets certified, he shall not be admitted to the Senate. There are now several layers of “we won’t let another outsider ever win an election” on display.
Is this article about Alabama or Venezuela?
***********************************
The Swamp wants to remake us into Venezuela but there are too many of us who would resist that. Since they cant do that...YET, theyre simply spreading FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt). They hope the FUD will discourage voters from voting for Moore. The polling internals must look bad for the Swamp nothing they are doing is working so far.
I agree.... Politics is a board game for lawyers.. And the common man always lose...
4.Donor class. There is no #5.
My Grandpa went through the Bolshevik revolution. I grew up on his knee listens to the evils of communism.
And it’s seeping in here. Trump has taught us the swamp is way slimier than we knew.
“I hope I croak before they start loading the box cars”
I been thinkin that for about the last 6 months.
Id go one better. Trump fires Sessions and sends him back as Senator from Alabama. Then, the President selects Roy Moore as Attorney General. Wed have an AG that would actually go after these traitors finally.
You want the traitors out but will vote them in. Your logic defies reason.
I understand your frustration, but has it occurred to you this is the actual game plan of McConnell/Ryan et.al.-to lose the majority. How many times does this same script have to play before we detect a purposeful pattern...These guys are not on The Deplorables’ side, any of them. Except maybe Trump on a few good days.
The real question is, does the GOPe have the guts?
They didn’t with Trump.
“The Republicans who despise President Trump see this as an opportunity to getting closer to that impeachment.”
That too. There are so many elements to this story and you just brought up another one. The deep state needs to be destroyed.
Switch to IND as soon as he wins, why wouldn’t that work?
That doesn’t sound right.
Sssshhhh...
Spoil sport, youll ruin the game! Have some more breadenjoy the circus.
A least we now know where and how Civil War II will start.
Very easy solution. We’re having a special election in PA-18 Congressional District to fill resigned Congressman Tim Murphy’s seat. Both parties have the equivalent of a caucus. Several hundred Republican party officials met last week, discussed and voted in one day for the Republican candidate who will run in the special election in March. The Democrats do the same thing. (I’m not following their special meeting on this so I have no details.) The Republican candidate is Rick Saccone.
Banana Republicans.
We should throw bananas at them.
