Guilty, Especially If Proven Innocent
Mitt Romney ^ | 11/11/2017 | By Laz A. Mataz

Posted on 11/11/2017 2:22:09 PM PST by Lazamataz

It read like something straight out of "The Onion".

"Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections."

So spake Mitt Romney, would-be King of the Establishment Republicans.

This one sentence shows a complete betrayal of all American mores and morals. In every walk of life -- law, elections, even reputations -- Americans have cherished the concept that one is innocent until proven guilty. This shows how dangerous Establishment Republicans are. They are every bit as dangerous as the most liberal Democrat.... and if given enough freedom to act, they would happily join Democrats in rounding up and killing Conservatives.

Right now, such a sentiment is reserved for Roy Moore, who clearly is the Establishment's second-worst nightmare (the first being Donald Trump).

Frankly, I'm surprised that Mitt Romney -- or as I like to call him, Mitt (R)Money -- didn't go a half-step further, and declare Roy Moore "Guilty, even if proven innocent."

The last year and a half have been the most revealing in all of American politics. We have certain proof that there is but one party in Washington, we have certain proof that they are more than happy to ignore voters wishes and even the results of elections, we have certain proof that they will stop at nothing to thwart the common citizen and their will.

It reveals a very dangerous situation, a situation that shows that the Establishmenty is completely unrestrained by American customs, laws, and basic moral fairness. I suspect that the Establishment would even allow a systemic collapse of America. "Better to burn it and rule over ashes," they think, "then to lose power."

If citizens sieze back government from these Esablishment Elites, let us use their words against them. We will not consider individuals such as Mitt Romney innocent until proven guilty. We will consider him guilty, and sentence him accordingly.

Mitt Romney is a Democrat with a “R” by his name.

If the Republican Establishment is successful in getting him the nomination, then cross over and vote for the Democrat. That way at leas the people will clearly know their Senator.

Fake Republicans like Mitt Romney need to be flushed out of the party. No more Democrats with “R”s by their names.

I do strongly suspect the Democrats support the fake Republicans like Romney in Republican Primaries. That way they win no matter who wins. Conservatives have to recognize this.

The deep swamp state tried to take out Donald Trump with all this fake Russian collusion. Judge Moore is getting the same type lies and hysteria thrown at him by deep state dirty ops. I am saying there is a pattern to defame and get rid of people. First it was (still is) Trump and now the lies and fake allegations are cranked up to get Judge Moore to quit the race or lose it to a Democrap.

Then you have the chorus of gelded Never Trumper Republican like Mitt Romney and some Senators telling Moore he should drop out.
They also said over and over again that Trump would lose until reality hit them at 11PM election night 2016. Judge Moore will be elected and will leave them looking like chumps. AGAIN!

There is still differences. It is those I addressed.

These difference do not annul in the fact that both are sold out to defend, promote and advance (build on) the Arbitrary government FDR finally instituted and which Eisenhower treacherously rubber stamped.

Whatever.

When you call for someone to step down from actually allowing voters to decide, then you’re assuming guilt of something before all the facts are in.

One of the few things that separates Republican swamp dwellers from Democrat swamp dwellers.

,

WRONG! The Republican swamp dwellers are only trying to eat the Republican conservatives. This serves nothing but having what we have now. Years of Republicans winning yet still a mass demographic change in many states like VA due to amnesty and open borders. Increasing federal bureaucracy and Obamacare.

Call me when the R’s are eating their own in a GOOD way.

You’re off the mark big time the R’s weeding out their own. They’re not doing it to the ones who need it.

Peter King, New York RINO Republican, said about Judge Moore “Prove you are innocent or resign”. WTF is the matter with these Uniparty RINOs?

Congressman King, you murdered a woman 40 years ago and buried her body. Prove you didn’t do that or resign!

I’m waiting for Mitt Romney, John McCain, Mitch McConnell, and the folks at the Washington Post to condemn Prince Charles for dating a teenager, and subsequently marrying her, when he was in his 30s. Apparently, from Romney’s point of view anyone who even thinks of doing such a thing should be driven from public life.

When you call for someone to step down from actually allowing voters to decide, then you’re assuming guilt of something before all the facts are in.

You must go through life paralyzed by inaction waiting for all the facts to come in before making a decision. Listen, I don't care what your decision is, and when it comes to voting, you are perfectly within your rights to base your decision on whatever you want. Use your best judgement based on all available facts.

You write like Camille Paglia talks. Brilliant but confusing.

You make some very excellent points, though I disagree with your "let's not be like them" philosophy.

I believe the ONLY way to fight the enemy is on their battlefield. It's far too late in the game to fight on ours. We gave that up a long time ago.

I try to be nice. :)

But I did see moments of brilliance in there. A good mind wrote that. Just needs to tighten up the actual writing of it.

I absolutely agree.

I also absolutely hold in contempt someone who rejects a basic tenent of America -- that one is innocent until proven guilty, in any arena of life -- and especially that that someone presumed to become our President.

You'll note that my editorial spends scant time talking about Roy Moore, but only about the outrageous attack on American mores that Mitt (R)Money launched.

Romney said of Trump....'after' the dinner meeting.....Which looked like something out of the God-Father! LOLOL

....“I happen to think that America's best days are ahead of us, And what I've seen through these discussions I've had with President-elect Trump,... as well as ....what we've seen in his speech the night of his victory,... as well ....the people he's selected as part of his transition,...... 'all'of those things combined give me increasing hope that President-elect Trump is the very man who can lead us to that better future.”....

“Are you serious?”

No, I’m not. Gary Condit killed her and probably masturbated over the corpse.

But what I’m saying is that guilty verdicts haven’t been reached. Yet this guy is guilty as hell - That’s how it works.

Mitt is correct in this statement - In politics it’s guilty until proven innocent but that’s not a particularly bad thing - These people are above the law and need to be brought back down. The root cause of this, as I stated, is democracy instead of electorate. All the people can get together and make up their own jury.

Justice in this country is broken, and it’s not the fault of who everyone thinks.
