You weren’t 16 or 17 and he wasn’t running for the Senate of the United States.
He did beat around the bush about dating the girls in their late teens, which was not the approach he should have taken. He should simply have admitted that he did so, and assert that, although some people might criticize it, 30 years ago in the South it was a fairly common practice, not unlawful, and even today it is not usually condemned. So, if he in fact did date these young women, I certainly wouldn’t characterize it as slimy.

He’s running for Senate, not local dog catcher. Dating 16 and 17 year olds when he’s in his 30s matters politically, and many voters will consider it questionable.

Alabama will elect its representative to send to Washington. Not the other way around. That’s how a Constitutional Republic works.
You don’t understand how it used to work down here at that time.
Most eligible women back then were married before they were twenty, so to find one that wasn’t a divorcee when you’re older requires you to look for women that might be more than a decade younger than you if you weren’t part of the first wave of marriages for your age group. (Something the Judge could not do given his career trajectory.)
I ran into the same thing myself when I moved down here. I started dating my wife of thirty years when she was 15 and I was 23. The part nobody seems to atttend to these days is there’s nothing wrong with dating such a young girl as long as you have her parent’s permission, and you’re not playing “slap and tickle” with her.

I have next to no recollection about the girls I dated in the 70’s. It was the 70’s, right? I may have had one date or less (bar hookups, fixups) with 100 girls. I still am running into them from time to time because I now live in the neighborhood I grew up in. I remember the few that I had sex with. But Roy isn’t accused of that, is he? Just calling them or dating?

Gosh, with friends like Hannity, why do we need enemies? A Fraud? I would not call him call him a Fraud, but he is too preachy, too Republican establishment, and not very bright as far as commentators go. He certainly likes that pig, Carl Rove. Two years? Hmm, that changes things a bit but I still would keep the seat in GOP hands. Plus I do not believe the accuser. This looks like a GOPe hit on a not GOPe candidate.

Exactly. This is meant to weaken Moore. If a write-in comes along and that person wins, well and good. If Moore wins then he's weak and ineffective, marginalized and detested by both Republicans and Democrats. In 2020 the GOP primaries him and replaces him. If a Democrat wins then the GOP lives with it and takes the seat back in 2020.
How in the world did the Compost find these women? They say they didn’t know each other, so they didn’t just find one, and that one mentioned the others. Did they go door to door? Did they ask woman at random on the street? Did they advertise on social media? Craig’s list?

For some odd reason, you jumped from impressions gleaned from listening to an interview, to the court system where these impressions would be used to determine guilt.
It is amazing is how quick some are to sarcastically label others as non-supporters based solely upon their sincere reactions to what they heard from a candidate.
Blind support serves no good purpose for free thinking people. Better to have honest analysis as we move toward liberty.
