Moore's comments on Sean Hannity's radio show..."I don't know Ms. Corfman from anybody. I never talked to her, never had any contact with her. Allegations of sexual misconduct with her are completely false," Moore said.

FOX is all in on destroying him
FOX news channel news programming may be; however, not Hannity radio show...So I am not going to blame Hannity or his guests for any actions...
Actually,
The RNSC pulled funding and was exploring the idea of a special election before Hannity program aired. So I’m not going to blame Hannity. (As per Hill, article at 2:10; Hannity radio show starts at 3.)
Not sure what Fox panelists you are talking about, but on the radio show, He had on Geraldo Rivera and Johnathan Gillian, tho they work for FOX, not sure if they were there on behalf of FOX.
I heard their comments...They were not all in on destroying him.
Tho Geraldo said he thinks Moore is toast, he and the other guy were not out to get the guy...He said things like need statute of limitations, the woman was married 3 times and works in a pawn shop. Said we suspend disbelief because of PC...we now believe every allegation, etc...Gilliam said timing was suspect.
Maybe we are talking about different broadcasts.
Actually the issues with Harvey Weinstein were the worst kept secret ever. There were comedians using him in their routines, and TV shows that openly made fun of his behavior. I would guess in his case many of the women did not come forward because they had actually willingly traded sex for a career in Hollywood but now being a victim is popular so they now claim they were not agreeable. Weinstein using power in exchange for sex was sleazy for sure but he was in a position to ruin careers and lives of the women only because he had the say so in who was chosen for different roles.
I have heard nothing that claims Moore expected sex in exchange for anything and he was not in a job where the women depended on him for their career/fame. Comparing the two is really apples and oranges.
I have to agree...some of those answers were bothersome...he made a lot of qualifying statements to say he “wouldn’t” have done that rather than straight up denials on some of the questions.
I dated a 35 year old guy when I was 19......in 1980. He was nice and we had fun. Shrug.
I think we all get it. Come on now. The divide is about how we feel about it.
Maybe we are talking about different broadcasts.
Yes, I am pretty sure we were referring to different shows...and I had not watched the Hannity TV show yet.
I think you were referring to the FOX Hannity TV show which had the radio interview replayed on it...I was referring to the radio show. Jarrett and the woman were not on the radio show...
I would agree with you as relates to the TV show...
I heard a moment or two of Hannity at the end of his radio show today, and he clearly also was less enthused at defending Moore. I had no idea he had interviewed him. Hannity knew he was lying too.
Moores best bet would have been TOTAL honesty. About the southern mores of the time, about dating teens, all of it. Lying doesnt help him.
You u are along Hannity a fraud?? What? Where did this come from?
Yes, I remember whom I dated or had romance with. From as far back as it goes.
Omg, the charge against Hannity was that he asked someone to his hotel room. Someone who had gone up against him strongly in the past. That isnt the same as touching the privates of a kid or dating high school girls in your thirties. And the charges were false. But evne the charges against Hannity dont speak of crimes or underaged girls.
I cannot tell if he is lying about ever meeting the 14 year old. No idea. But I can TELL he is lying about the 17 year old.
Because you are the 17 year old?
That must be it. I dont know a thing about the South. So I read the words Moore says and dont believe he could remember being friends with the 17 year old girl, yet didnt remember if he dated and made out with her. Because I dont understand the different way brain memory centers work in the Southern States.
We have a winner! Now all you have to do is get a job in the court system. Think how much time and money we will save just by you listening to an interview and declaring guilt or innocence.
I have been here since 2000 (nearly 9 years more than you...)
You gonna call me a concern troll if I disagree with you??
Are FReepers this stupid, to attack Sean Hannity, calling him a fraud, because they cant handle what happened? Sean was gung ho defending Moore to a ridiculous degree yesterday, then interviewed him today, probably in desperate hopes to save him, but the guy freaking LIES about things he did not need to lie about, and Hannity was forced to deal with the fact that this guy is hiding stuff. Blaming the messenger is immature at best.
You are being silly. If you were running for a big office right now, and a scandal popped up about someone you once dated back then, YOU WOULD REMEMBER that the guy was wayyyyy younger than you, say, and whether you liked him romantically or kissed him. You would have had a couple recent days to focus on that part of your past and it would be surprising how many details you remember. Your defense, that we forget a lot, in general, doesnt fit.
All I said was that from the interview transcript, it is OBVIOUS Moore is lying about the 17 year old. He doesnt remember speaking in her class. Fine. If he spoke in lots of civics classses, I have no problem with him not remembering one specific one. And if he really didnt remember the girl, Im ok with that too. I dont know what he did or didnt do. But it is not possible that he remembers being friends with this specific girl half his age, but doors not remember if he knew her romantically (dating) or kissed her. That is a LIE.
If you are in your 30s and you need the mother's permission then the girl is 'young'. So Roy liked them young. When I dated women in my 20s I didn't need a mother's permission because the women were old enough to have already left home. But it is not against the law or necessarily immoral for a 32 year old to date an 18 year old. Odd. Perhaps. But not immoral IMO. Kind of beckons to an old era when men married women real young.
So the dems find some real stories of Roy dating young women but say - this isn't enough. We need to spice this up. So they get one of them to make up accusations that she was 14 and mix it in there with some possibly truthful or partially truthful stories ... to blow it up into a manufactured "scandal".
This is exactly how I see it.
See my previous post why I can tell he is lying about the 17 year old and his memory. If youre honest with yourself, youll see my point.
Between the celebrity and now politicians this is turning out to be a modern day witch hunt. Scary times when it becomes trendy for people just start making false (or old) allegations to publicly slander someone and sully their name.
I really dont get the neo-puritans like you. Whats the problem with dating young firtle age women who are of legal age

You don’t know me, so don’t make an attempt to insult me and politically, on a national level, he’s done.
