Japan might be routinely hailed as one of the best places in the world for food but that has not inspired Donald Trump to deviate from his strict all-American diet, Independent reported.
There was not a trace of ramen, sushi or tempura on President Trumps plate at a casual lunch with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Sunday.
The billionaire property developer instead relished in eating a hamburger sourced from American beef during his first trip to Japan as President.
Mr Trump chose to have his burger well-done as he has become so famed for doing with his steaks.
President Trump played golf with Mr Abe at the Kasumigaseki Country Club - alongside professional golfer Hideki Matsuyama - on his first day in the country. According to an excerpt from the book Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J Trump, during a trip to Japan back in 1990 Mr Trump said he would not eat "f***ing raw fish" and instead devoured a hamburger at McDonald's which cheered him up massively.
Get Real!... The Japanese LOVE and have ADOPTED the American Hamburger.
Ah, well. More sushi for me.
I can vouch for the Anova.
Ok ribs. The 3,2,1 method. Perfect ribs every time. Smoker: 225 Wood: a handfull each of cherry, apple and hickory Method: 3 hours over smoke. 2 hours foiled with apple juice in the packet. 1 hour sauced and that sauce caramelizing.
Tried turkey but found that at least for me on my smoker duck smokes so much better. Turkey comes out dry. Because duck is so fatty it holds up 10 times better to a low and slow. As the fat renders it bastes the meat. The innate flavor is more to my palate anyway. My best turkey results have been in the fryer.
Whale - had the experience several times here in Alaska
Tastes like very fatty beef sushi with a little musk.......
Kobe beef may taste very good but the saturated fats and cholesterol will kill you. The Chol. is off the charts and so is the price.
Now a nice shrimp tempura would be good substitute when necessary.
I’ve never been on a cruise...but, thinking about it. YOU are the pro. So, recommendation for cruise line and any other tips for a beginner.
And arugula. Don't forget arugula, and how Obozo whined to Iowans (?) about the price of arugula.
I’ve missed all these recipe posts. We used to have a lot of them, usually while waiting for election results.
The singularly worst thing I have ever eaten in my life was a raw shrimp in Japan.
McDonalds is very popular there.
Considering what happened to President Bush in Japan, it is probably better. Would you really want to see viral video of Trump getting sick?
Even his stomach is RACIS!!!!
Besides he has all the raw fish he needs at home?
And just what is so bad about Gen Tso’s kitten?
“I love Donald Trump is a non-sexual way” - h/t Jeff Kuhner
Yep - I tell them I want it warmed up but want to see the last 2 pulses as it’s delivered....
I understand being afraid of raw meat. With billions, Trump has had decades to change his taste buds. He doesn’t do it because he doesn’t want to. So what?
Hey, at least he didn’t throw up on the PM
Trump is smart, Japanese food sucks.
There is an impossibly elegant Japanese restaurant in PARIS that serves nothng but unagi.......eel cooked in a special Japanese sauce.
It was opened by a Japanese restauranteur....and sophisticated parisians are flockng to the place paying big bucks to eat unagi.
When traveling abroad, I usually seek out Japanese and Chinese food. It tastes pretty much the same everywhere I’ve traveled.
I can count on both hands how many times I have eaten at a McDonalds in my entire life. I was so desperate to find something I could eat that tasted right in Sydney that I went to McDonalds. Ended up throwing it all away. Beef was awful. The fries tasted like dirt to me.
Home of Kobe beef
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kobe_beef
Kobe beef (神戸ビーフ Kōbe bīfu) refers to beef from the Tajima strain of Wagyu cattle, raised in Japan's Hyogo Prefecture according to rules as set out by the Kobe Beef Marketing and Distribution Promotion Association.[1] The meat is a delicacy renowned for its flavor, tenderness, and fatty, well-marbled texture. Kobe beef can be prepared as steak, sukiyaki, shabu shabu, sashimi, and teppanyaki. Kobe beef is generally considered one of the three top brands (known as Sandai Wagyuu, "the three big beefs"), along with Matsusaka beef and Ōmi beef or Yonezawa beef.

This faggotry and phony outrage from the press, fakebook, and twitspace must come to an end. My give-a-damn meter is broken.
