One thingI missed about Wisconsin is the default position of dairy products. Here in Georgia, you can go to a restaurant that views itself as casual upscale (to the point that you are not supposed to request substitute ingredients on the specialty burgers), and when you request butter for your green beans or asparagus, you get “Land O’Lakes Buttery Spread”. In Wisconsin, the KFC is required by LAW to default to real butter for your biscuits. Here, if you request butter for your biscuit (gravy is default) you are made like you are putting someone out. If you go to Panera in Wisconsin, you get butter for your bread. In Georgia, if you ask for butter, the counter lady looks confused, hunts around, and gives you one small pat for a massive, dense roll.

Great people here in Georgia, and not shy about down home and tasty (fatty) cooking. But no love for butter.

Good cheese but terrible politics. Owners are leftist as hell. I don’t buy it anymore. It is like Chobani. Great yogurt but a Hamas sympathizing owner. On the never ever buy list.

My wife’s son married into the owners family no indication of any outright liberal views

They have participated in several boycott conservatives actions. They are leftists or lack moral fiber. Either way I will not buy their products.

Left-wingers. Aldi has comparable cheeses at half the price.

Tillamook and Cabot — my 2 favorite cheeses! But, Sargento for every day. And I do eat their little snack packs almost every day. Often that’s my only lunch. Mmmmmm-mmmm-mm

The Cabot Seriously Sharp Aged Cheddar is just devine in my humble opinion. Probably the cheese I buy the most.
